If you tried you could probably get that into Starbound somehow, except I think they might already have penguins. But either way, this looks like it would just fit with their style. That single hair waggling off his head is so derp xD
So in college, one of my projects is to make a game in Unity. I thought "hell yeah!". So for kicks in my spare time while I learn C# and Unity Script (aka Javascript modified), I'm gonna play around with making a Mario engine thing. Im not gonna promise anything from it. I've been busy all day in Blender trying to figure the program out. I managed to rig a Super Mario 64 DS Mario Model, but that didn't turn out well.
The textures you're using seems too blurry for me. I think it would be better if the overalls' buttons and the hair chop weren actual parts of the model. Also, about the idle, there should be more smoothness when he starts to turn around.

I didn't make the model. I just rigged it. I assume it's the beta model from Mario Sunshine, as it doesn't have the same details but it has the general design.

I don't have a model for that, and I don't have the game so I can't rip it.
I think I have the idle animation down. (The feet still move a bit, but thats okay for now.)
