Is it really practical to look at video games from a logical standpoint? (although I will admit it's fun to do)

I think the idea isn't practicality but more just getting a laugh at absurdly illogical things in games

In Professor Layton and the Unwound Future...

The Clock Shop is an elevator to the underground "future" london (in a gigantic cavern), but wouldn't that mean you could SEE this elevator from outside the shop (underground). If the shop was located in some huge tower that led all the way to caves ceiling, it would have gathered more attention than it did.

Oh yeah, the fact that the character can be in a swimsuit, and survive without any trouble in a frost world.

Well yeah, ice can freeze rocks, ice can freeze water, it should be effective against water

Here's another video game logic:

Making the Pokémon faint does not make it easier to catch them (as if the word "faint" meant "kill" which would mean Pokémon centers could revive the dead).

I think it really makes easier catch them, because the pokemon is weaker than before, when it had all of his HP
