I'm not exactly sure if you think overrated necessarily means bad, but based on your wording i think you do. People like the switch because it's good and has good games.

It's not the people, it's the idea they talk about a console like it's a religion they heavily follow. I'm just like, "Ok, you've already said how 'awesome' this thing is, you can stop now." and people being people, they just don't stop.

I don't think i've ever seen anyone exaggerate that much about the switch... but i'm not denying what you're saying. Even if so, they must really like the switch, and as i said liking things isn't wrong. Which makes me wonder... why don't you like the switch?

Many reasons, like how it grave digs the Wii U like every night just to steal some of its games (think of the idea of that happening except people are fine with it and literally couldn't give a shit about it). Also, very original ports, you added "Deluxe" to MK8 and NSMBU, mind blown (obvious sarcasm). Was it really too hard to just make an entirely new game instead of the same damn thing again, only with a few minor tweaks? It basically eats $60 for the same thing with only like about 5 new features. The name itself is quite possibly one of the lamest puns ever, like someone telling a Wii U user to switch to the Switch. That pun is so bad it makes me want to look at Undertale fan service for 5 hours (which you can guarantee I would never want to do normally). I've liked the Wii U because it came off from the Wii which I also enjoyed.

I've disliked the new smash game (being on the switch ofc) so when people say smash ultimate is the ultimate smash bros, I'm like "Oh sure, it's an ultimate piece of shit." I've actually turned off my wifi the day before and after it was released, I was that into not giving a fuck about people playing the stupid garbage that has Daisy and a fucking piranha plant, seriously, who was drunk when they decided to add a basic enemy? You don't see goombas as a playable fighter, nor do you see the skeletons from Castlevania, not even the fucking moblins from Zelda. Having minions of a character as a smash fighter seems dumb, obscure, and a wasted character slot. And what was so hard about having Daisy as just a fucking costume for Peach? It was like that for the past 3 games, why not now? And don't even get me started on Ridley, Ridley was better off as an actual boss because now they had to scale him down so he isn't half the damn stage's size!

More like I'd rather not waste my money just to get the same thing again, but with like 5% more stuff. Fyi, people tend to shop for it like it's Black Friday sometimes.
