I am not talking about your game in specific not about whether or not it can win. What I am trying to say is that the three votes that were cast on your game would have been way better off with someone who actually put a lot of time and effort into the game they made. And in some cases three votes really can make the difference.

The thing is, how do we distinguish between joke games and non-joke games? Nien's games, for example, have always been pretty silly and that's likely a major reason why they've been voted in, but they're also well-balanced and, I think, somewhat seriously designed games. As game masters, I don't think it's really up to us to decide what is a joke game and what isn't, only to determine what's sufficiently balanced, and Jacob's game does appear to be somewhat sufficiently balanced to appear on this poll.

Pretty much what I'd have to say about this, plus I'd like to add, and I've stated this plenty of times before, that we are not limiting creativity. While some things can certainly be ridiculous and over the top, a lot of the time the "joke" games iron themselves out and become well balanced. I think people need to stop throwing around the term "joke game" and just mutually agree that people come up with some pretty wacky games.

Besides, nobody is forcing you to vote for the game just because it's on that poll.

That's not only implying Jacob didn't put time and effort into his game, but also being ignorant to the fact that Pseudo has been dominating the polls for most of the time anyway.
