What? Why would the graphics change?

Umm, by the way the only thing I don't like is the bananas. But as long as this is a remake-like episode of the DKC it...could be good I guess. O.o :D

I think I should completely redesign the entire world map. At least the graphics. Some better graphics were made and it would lower the credits count as well as look nicer. If TTk messages me in April, I can work on that.

Why don't you like the bananas? Everybody else does.

I agree with Eureka. It gives a sense of Donkey Kong to the game. But the recolors don't look as fine.

Yeah, I meant the recolor.
Feedback appreciated. I could try to fix the recolors!
Would you guys say the standard yellow ones are good, or are all colors you see look pretty rough?

Well, I say the world 1's 3rd screen's bananas pretty good and match with other stuff in that level. I would delete bananas from cave levels etc. and put them into a level where they mach. If you really want to put them in the current level I think you should recolor them to SMB3-like and maybe make them darker or lighter, that counts on the level.

For me, the bananas on the project logo look fine, but I agree with Gremonow, if the environment has dark colors, then the bananas would be darker.
Just don't deviate too much from the basic yellow color.

Dusting off this old project. Some changes are being made to the current levels, and a small change in line up may come into effect. Some level designers have dropped off, and some levels offered by other users who are either inactive or were not involved with the project to begin with will be removed too.

Expect some small changes on the main page, and hopefully we'll get things into high gear again within the next few months. We all have things irl to deal with, hence the constant setbacks on this project, but with a smaller team and more focus on certain aspects this project still has life in it.

I might even throw in a new screenshot within the week too. Thank you all for those who support, and may further progress come in the future.

I recently discovered this project and I must say I am impressed. I'm a big Mario and DK fan so this is perfect. I'm glad to hear the project isn't dead. Was there anything new released since the 1st demo? I'm eager to try some new levels.

We do have plenty of levels done, but at the moment we have other changes within both levels, level designers, etc. Not sure how many we plan to release in a future demo yet or if we're gonna do another demo soon.
