I just realized Reign never understanded what my last question meant,
what I was saying was: Why was Dark Mind (KatAM's final boss) added in as Mother Brain in Hammer Bro's level?

Which level are you referring to? There are multiple levels with hammer bros in them.

Which level are you referring to? There are multiple levels with hammer bros in them.

I just checked the level and I don't see a Mother Brain in it. If there is one, it has been added by mistake.

This was an amazing episode. I guess it was so hard because puzzles are not really intended for SMBX.

Puzzle levels can be easy or hard no matter what. They only appear creative because puzzling elements are hard to create in a Jump-n-Run environment.

Well I mean it is a platformer... I just meant that you would expect more platforming than puzzles, but it's still cool nevertheless.

ok some challenges are just about precision platforming. But the majority of them also requires thinking.

He's saying that with a general perspective, no need to make fun of him when that's not very hard to understand.
I'll say too that this episode's puzzles are a huge change of pace from Mario's usual focus on precision platforming (and thus, what's usually made in SMBX), but I don't think it's harder, per se. Just different.

jesus I remember the 9th star (Chill before the Storm) is really brutal. Bouncing off the trampoline all the way over spikes and getting past sparkies ... I remember I once died very close to the end.
Oh well, I'll finish this one day.

Do you still have the "individual game" version of the episode? I saw it listed in the "How to TheXTechize the old game" article on how to get individual SMBX packages to be playable on TheXTech, a reimplementation of the original SMBX engine.
