The latest version of Grant Atlus is finished and ready to download.
It would be wise to delete any other versions you may already have to ensure the world map and stages all function normally.

The DKC enemy graphics are very nice. Who is the author of them?

They are pretty sweet graphics. They come from a community graphics pack i cant remember who was all involved off the top. I think you actually drew the spider web and some blocks, I know Enji had a hand in making some. The Thwomp King had all of the DK Graphics compilled for his current project and gave me a few I hadn't already snatched up. I tried making him a simple cave level for his project Super Mario Country but it was far over complicated. I still owe him a more fitting level that I'm going to get to him soon.
On that topic I should add, that I was very careful to credit every user for their graphical work in a note in the game folder. However I did lose track of exactly who made what.
So if you happen to notice your graphic being used in this episode feel free to comment on what you made specifically and I will add that text to the credits file.

Hey, thanks for doing it! It's been fun replaying but ...
I'm clueless how to get that star in Sweatin' Snakeskin. I accessed the Podoboo Shoe and the Piranha Plant, and I've been all over the heights with a Leaf, but I couldn't find it.

Nice! Hope the better quality makes it more enjoyable. That Star is a bit tough to get. Also when you do find the Star I have it set to hail down rainbow shells down making the stage difficult to complete so beware. (this is also the only stage an event occurs for collecting the Star.) You were on the right track. When you get that shoe go into the pipe just above where it drops. This may take jumping out of the shoe to reach it.

If you say that no stars need to be collected to finish, how do you get past the 10 Star gate and into World 5?
Also:
Is there any exit allowing for continuation? (I only got a star after defeating the Boom-Boom). Also can you proceed from the "Garbage Castle" in
World 6? And if not, what is the final level, apart from World 9?

ah sorry my bad, you do need 16 stars to get a chance to play the impossible stage er cemi kaizo-esque level to get the tough ending. thats interesting I guess you missed the vine leading down to world 4 which is pretty cool you ploughed through world 3 eh? I have to play to world 6 now to see if its bugged haha. btw the 16 star gate bugged so had to patch it 3 days ago. ahg, pretty sure a bug is rare in it now though.

I visited World 4 and it seems like a dead end (only leading to the Money Ship and the 16 Star Gate "Link's Errand").
I assume that completing the World 6 Castle will take you to the star warp, and I just unlocked that warp earlier from World 7. Still no idea about World 8, though. My file says 90% completeage, and now it seems like I can only go to the "impossible" stage.

Sounds to me like you found a lot of the secrets and may have missed the straight roads. not a bad thing it means your good at smbx but there is a clean path through each world.

That's all I unlocked in World 4. It's fairly confusing since you don't know if some stages have multiple exists and some paths converge.

Good to know it was, i made the game fairly easy so a little confusion was needed to test the players intuition. ohhh, you must have taken the star path to world 4. What would you suggest to balance out getting confused in world 4 there are a lot more secrets now. i suppose i could rely on the star signs and replace normal levels with no alternate paths yellow dotted and make the alternate path levels with red. would have to start over though since the map would be altered.

No, I was approaching World 4 the normal way (from that left bottom pipe before World 3), and then I played towards the bottom. Maybe I missed an exit in Chatteau Pamb Nickler, can you check that from my screenshot? Though I visited both the keyhole and the room with the two flying hammer bro's.

Ah I'm glad you found that stuff, I fixed map fix and Chatteau fix now, plus adding 2 short levels for even more variety in world 4. Red dotted levels now indicate multiple exits. made a rad colaboration level with a friend who stopped by. updated Nov 21st. Map Fix.

I just checked and noticed that the OP was still edited. Can you please screenshot the changes you made to the worldmap (regarding World 4 and the fortress exit in World 8)?

holy **** did he delete the download after he compiled the levels into Warp Gauntlet?
I don't have the download anymore, as I still don't have my SMBX2 data that I lost from my old laptop, and I didn't use 1.3 to play this.
Anybody here who played it and has a download?

Cedur, were you still interested in helping me polish the episode yet again to make it good? I could take all the updated levels from warp gauntlet and change the entry and exits and put them back on the map format. there is new levels too so it would be even less linear. You may have been right about the map system being better for the episode.

I still am! I wouldn't mind playing through everything again, I would have to anyway as my old laptop crashed some months ago, and I still wish to get this featured eventually.

Although I'm doubtful it would ever get featured it would be awesome to have your help making it perfect! I'm going back to make the updates and I'll pm you the full game and details soon. Feel free to invent some new levels for it as well. They don't have to be too serious, the stranger the better.
