CLOUD STRIFE WHAT

Ehh saw that when i got home. I personally would rather have crono from chrono trigger or jin or akria.
Still one more 3rd party, from an rpg game... how many people from rpgs are there now?

I wonder what is this strange thing that Lv.9 cpus have been doing for the past few months.
They would recover by secretley jumping another time in 3 ways:
1. Airdoge and jumping at the same frame and they somehow jump again.
2. Right after getting launched, they automatically jump and yet they can still jump like if they never made that one jump.
3. Going up in the air like if they grabbed a ledge which is the weirdest one overall.
I thought it was strange and it rarely happens when battling Lv.9s in some cases.

you probably didn't mean it literally but I had to know

To be clear I'm not really personally excited for Cloud in particular, it's just that he's almost a Goku-level likelihood of character to add. I guess this must be what people who knew who Snake was thought when they saw the Brawl trailer in 2006.

Yeah, can't say I'm that excited about it either. I wouldn't consider Cloud's inclusion near Goku-level in terms of likelihood. To me it seemed bound to happen at some point, and today is the day. While I do feel like Cloud is somewhat of that oddball like Snake was it Brawl, it's definitely at a lesser extent. He also has this dark tone to him that stands out compared to other characters from what I've watched, and I kind of like that.

...Now, about Cloud Strife in Smash. I thought it a cool inclusion, but I've never played a Final Fantasy game in my entire life. However, I'm curious to know if Nintendo is on good enough terms with Square to make a sequel to Super Mario RPG or even remake it. Anyway, I'm glad there's a new character in Smash, it's just one I don't know anything about.

As i see so far, im gonna get cloud, not because he is final fantasy, but the way he fights. It is rather something i like.

The reason he could be in is that ff7 was meant be on the n64... not the ff spin offs...

No... the reason Cloud is in is because he's the most easily recognizable and biggest final fantasy character, regardless of his (lack of) history on Nintendo platforms.

This, and if you consider Final Fantasy's history on the NES and SNES, AND if you consider that Final Fantasy helped popularize the JRPG genre.

Honest, I think Black Mage should've been the Final Fantasy character in Smash due to his appearances in the Nintendo Final Fantasy lineup, that started out with the original one for the NES.

I kind of see why they didn't go with Black Mage as a character. Black Mage was considered a class in the final fantasy games, but not as a standalone character. Cloud is also much more recognizable.

That is kinda ironic as i did not know cloud before i heard about it after playing ff 6. In other words, i did not know cloud existed until i looked up the iso for ff7. I say it is rather odd... (yeah i might live under a rock) still, what else do you think, like not surprised, rather like what do you think as he is in as a character in general.

Cloud has been confirmed for smash? wow! but that doesn't mean the smash ballot is done with it's characters yet!
