2015: activity is considered suspicious
2016: mafia games never get more than 5 pages
2017: all signups have more posts than the games themselves
2018: m87 starts. it doesnt get a single post.
2019: m87 is now on night 157 because no one dared to send in any role usage pm
2020: smbx.org gets hacked. the hackers finally finished m87 after 420 nights

Would anyone be up for a ballot box, faction, card flip, and mystery in the same game or would leaving out mystry be better?

If you don't introduce too many new roles then I'd be up for it.

What were you thinking of? We've already had a mystery game last game, now we got one with factions and last will, I don't think there's anything we haven't had yet.

I don't think we need gimmicks as much as we need more general interest in Mafia. I say we wait a little bit before M25 and try to get more interest in the game, and then have M25 be something accessible that's hosted by one of the GMs.

I highly doubt that people will get interested in Mafia if we aren't playing it.

My idea would be to run a game exclusively for people new to Mafia alongside one for the more experienced players. That way, the new players won't be discouraged by being not as good as the players who've been playing for longer.

Maybe we could also use the lobby on EpicMafia?

It has not died, it it that most people left... either it was the fourms, banned, other people got on nerves and decided to leave, or just people don't want to play, really i am looking forward to the next mafia game that comes up. Any game, i like to play.

2017: M25 ends.
2018: M26 and so on has 5 or less players.
2019: Mafia thread is no longer is visible to many users.

Nothing really occurring for quite a while. Well, almost a month. Sorry if I became that impatient person, but it just feels like it's dying down already. Maybe it did, maybe it's just on pause. Oh well.

You know... there might not be a chance mafia.is ever played again unless people actually play a game. I think we need to get at least one game going. At least one. So we bring it back. It does not matter how generic or easy it is, at least ome game.

That makes no sense. We're not going to play Mafia if we aren't interested, and we shouldn't be forced into a game either. That wouldn't make us anymore interested in Mafia than we are now.

I don't think that is what i meant to say...

I meant to say that if people want to play a game... we have to make it so we would be able to play it, even if it was minimal. People could join the game if they want. Like you will not be forced. At least one thing, what do you want in mafia now? At least let's get that question in.
