The funfact tho is that ALMOST no one does that but replies to it.

And the people reacting to the bad posts shouldn't be doing so. It's the staff's responsibility to handle bad quality posts, not the user. The user's responsibility is to report the post and from there the staff will handle it.

And the staff were partly the reason the requests forum went down; they were the ones who made the rules.

Let's just say... it was for good taking it down. People really made requests that nobody could do. You can still pm someone or.. just do it by yourself.

Also, I noticed that the front page of the wiki shows featured content, but it still shows Super Mario Legends part 1 as the featured episode when that was featured before Airship Attack.

As far as I know, interest in the project diminished. Also, the wiki has been pretty much shut down temporarily until we have enough drive here to make it better.

Problem is though, there isn't much interest unfortunately, plus the old Wiki's days are numbered essentially and it doesn't get much traffic as it is, so really, we'd be wasting our time at this point. It's a nice idea all the same however, it's just that putting a lot of time and effort into something that isn't as well received as you may have hoped is a real downer, which is something that almost always causes things to be abandoned sooner or later.

The level system is fine as it is, in my opinion, and if we need to we can further restrict entry into The Best.

Over the summer I was working on a quote database software but I never finished it.

What about Forum's Funniest Posts? It was locked for the same reason, but no reason was given on that thread, which is why I linked to the IRC quotes topic. Plus, I felt that some of the quotes in the Forums Funniest Posts were pretty funny.

Out of curiosity, what's stopping us from having HTML5 YouTube <video> tags instead of flash?

I personally don't have the flash plugin installed for the main browser I use(out of preference), and it gets a bit annoying when I have to open Internet Explorer or another browser in order to view embedded YouTube videos in a thread with flash. I'd think flash is outdated by now for such things.

However I'm aware that this might be having to do with how the forum's software is coded/something backend.*shrug*
