I don't think anyone has ever reached the average of 9.00 in our contests. It's rare to have all the judges agree on a 9/10.

Congratulations to Ace for winning! I'm still happy with 9th place. I did a little better than I had expected.

He recently told me about something like that, although I might just be mixing things up.

Wow 3rd? I was the runner-up for a while... I think the unbelievable fact that I would beat all the users, and only lost to Chad.

EDIT: Curious, some judges complain about the size of my level, I can beat it in 4-7 minutes.
Almost a perfect score by Castlewars, and Chad realized the colours standart of enchanted mushrooms ( I think than nobory was cares with this )

So what levels will be in ToB? Is it just the top ranked ones? I never played them before.

All of them will be in ToB6.

Mine will be the best, it got 47th place.

Yeah, I did, a 9,65 out of 10, but that was in the SMBX:R contest. It wasn't ToB relevant. The SMBX:R contest had two levels with a score that goes over 9, reghrhre and me. I would say SMBX:R's judges were much more forgiving about length and difficulty, though. I'm afraid I wouldn't even do it to the Top 5 in a ToB contest, considering my level was ten minutes long and had final level difficulty.

I've said this before the winner was completely revealed already, but congrats Ace. Can't wait to play your level.

Considering there's only a 0.115 difference between 6th place and 1st place, I wouldn't consider anybody around the top 10 to be clearly better or worse than each other. I think removing only one of castlwars' reviews was bound to cause some backlash, and I think in order to make more people happy, all his reviews should have been exempt. However, I realize that would mean rearranging all the levels and moving a lot of placements, so I don't think that would have been ideal. I've also noticed that quite a few levels don't have a Quill review, meaning some final reviews on some levels are weighted differently than others.
This is all to say that since this contest and previous contests have never been perfect, and since the differences between the top 10 scores are so ridiculously small, there are so many levels that could have gotten first that I would consider them all winners.

But I'm very happy that I technically did get first in the standings, even if it was by a fraction of a tenth of a mark!

The back-up judge will return in the next contest. The back-up judge will make sure all the levels will have an equal amount of reviews.
