It's amazing. Especially the pillars. They look far better than the original pillars.

Thanks. The pillars were actually the ones I didn't like that much though, what a coincidence. =P

My first attempt at ever creating a graphic. Feedback is appreciated.
I'm thinking it could be used for something like a rocky level, but I'm unsure.

You just need to switch the dark part and the bright part, then it'd be perfect. That way it looks like light shines on it. Right now it looks like shadow is shining on it which is kinda weird.

@Kep: That graphic has 1x1 pixels. Otherwise it is a nice attempt to make a rock-like block.
@Kyo: It would look a lot more weird if I switch it because the light is actually coming from the upper-left side corner of the image. =P

I highly recommend you to design GFX in their half-size (16x16 in this case) first, then just resize it. That way you save a lot of time and 1x1 can't occur as well.

What?
Than here's where I'd ask "what is 2x2 pixels and how do I make a graphic with them".

All right, thanks for the suggestion.

2x2 pixels are pixels points made of 2 pixels width and 2 pixels height like its name suggests. SMBX handles in its entirety 2x2 pixels to any graphic with 1x1 pixels or mostly 1x3 which mostly fits that graphic of yours looks sort of weird and doesn't fit at all. I'll let you here to compare your own block with a slightly modified version of mine.

How about a mid-tile for the wide block?
It's pretty good, but I think this dark grey at BGO's checkerboard doesn't fit with the tiles. Try using the darker blue.

You mean like a semi-wide-block with a slope on one of the sides? I guess I could try that. Also, about the colours I could try to make multiple colours for people to mix according to their likes and needs. I used to make pure recolours back when I started with GFX Designing so I guess recolouring a bunch of blocks and BGOs wouldn't be that time consuming.

No no, I mean a middle tile matching the wide block, so people can make blocks with 3 or more tiles wide. As for the colours, that's a nice idea.

Try a 2x2 block and maybe a 4x4 block, to make filling in big areas a little easier.
I'm definitely loving the BGOs! Maybe try some sort of statue, maybe of a YI styled shy guy, since the tileset reminds me of Yoshi's Island. Maybe some candles would do as well.

@BMatSantos: Oh, if that is the case no, I'll stick with non-custom blocks, and thanks for your feedback.
@TNTtimelord: That's actually what I was planning to do. And I was kinda inspired by YI when I starting working on this. =P

Huh,maby some statues?Like a Boom-boom statue? As well as some banners as well maby....

Actually, the statue idea and banners sound like a good idea, regardless of who suggested it, I thank you all for giving this tileset so much attention. It may seem like nothing to you, but it means a lot to me.
Also, update on my fortress tileset. Added a picture of Boom-boom and custom doors, along 2x2 blocks and 4x4 blocks as suggested. Also, you guys may notice that I changed the pattern. I actually got stuck with the pattern I had before because I couldn't reproduce it, so I decided not to add anything from now on as I don't want to remake everything all over.
NOTE: Original Boom-boom sprite made by Squishy Rex.

Part of my NSMB2 Pack:
@Natsu: That's a cool fortress tileset and I love what you did with my Boom Boom sprite, I never would have thought of that myself. I'd definitely like to use this tileset over the original one any day. Great work as always Natsu!

Thanks krazykat! I just noticed Maury released his own...damn. But anyhow, just a little more work and this will be ready for porting and releasing.
