I decided to actually do some math. Let's take the amount of completed levels we have, 37, and divide it by the amount of years which have passed so far since initial inception, 7. Let's call this number M, since it's the rate of how many levels per year are coming out, roughly. Going by what you said, PixelPest, the total number of levels is 91 (37 completed levels plus 22 unfinished but claimed levels plus 32 unclaimed levels). If you divide 91 by M then you'll get the total number of years it would take to finish the project, 17+(8/37).
While based off of very minimal data, this approach gives you a mathematically proven estimation that The Invasion 3 will come out by 2027.

If possible, the current SCC (and maybe gex too) should be taken as a yardstick for who could help out as a level designer.

Nah not GEX thise levels are tooo great to be compared to something this invasion 3 would want as a level.

If that's the case then we're really doomed

From what I've heard, there's plans for a remake of the invasion II for the final (non-beta) release of SMBX2 that's coming a few years from now. We promise that it won't be by 2027 if we can help it.

Question for you all:
Which will come out first? The Invasion 3, or Half Life 3?

If I recall correctly, it'll still be called The Invasion 2, just modernized to use the capabilities of SMBX2.

I honestly just think this should just be labeled as cancelled, since we haven't gotten any sign of progress in forever.

I don't think it does because i remember that the mb boss was made in before beta 3 also became a thing around here.
Valtteri stated in the video that he also used 1.3 so yeah.. i think it's just layer/events but still a great thing to show what you can do with those.

I get it... is awesome how much effort they put in that boss, it looks like it was made with Lunalua (the transformation process of Mother Brain)
