M31 - A New Terror, Z-Fighters Unite! - 18 Players, 3 Mafia, 13 town, 2 third party.

Some notes:
-Changed Gohans power back to original.
-Added Gohans ability to block Cells regeneration, making Gohan more useful and needed.
-Cells regeneration allows Cell to come back to life after death once in the game.
-Raditz and Nappa are a team, and arent as strong without each other, thus Nappa or Raditz will lose their immunity if the other dies.
-Normal win conditions, Mafia wins if it equals or outnumbers the town, Third Party wins if they are the last standing and Town wins if all Third Party and Mafia are dead.
-Added Krillin
-Senzu Beans are an item that fully restores stamina, as such instead of a regular doctor use, when a player is given a bean they will be notified, and asked if they wish to use it for the following night. It can only be used once and only for the following night so you will need another if you dont use it. They are also given out in the Day phase, instead of a Night phase save.

The Villians

Frieza - The 'Strongest in the Universe.' Given his nature of Planet salesman, he can talk a Z-Fighter into working for him for one day controling their lynch vote.

Cell - The 'Ultimate Lifeform.' Cell is infused with the cells of all the Z Fighters, namely known for Piccolo's regeneration. This allows Cell to regenerate once in the game.

Majin Buu - The 'Sweettooth Terror.' Majin Buu loves candy, and can absorb powers through eating. This allows Majin Buu to gain one ability of a target killed within the last night by the Villians.

The Z Fighters

Goku - The 'Hero of the Universe.' Goku is a clumsy Saiyan and always loves to test his abilities. As the leader of the Z Fighters he can use his Instant Transmission to reveal a players color each night. Knows who Gohan is.

Gohan - The 'Gentle Son.' Gohan hates to hurt others, but will if provoked. Because of this he cannot lynch unless Goku is dead. As long as Gohan is alive, he will also passively block Cells regeneration. Knows who Goku is.

Vegeta - The 'Prince of all Saiyans.' Vegeta is very prideful, and he gets angry very easily. Because of this Vegeta does not care and can nightkill. Will be rolecalled if an innocent dies by his hand.

Piccolo - The 'Namekian Brilliance.' Piccolo was once an enemy of Goku but has come to befriend him. He can train a Z-Fighter each night to make their lynch votes count for two. Does not effect Rebellious Saiyans or Villians.

Krillin - The 'Weakest Link.' Krillin is Gokus best friend, and once was stronger than him. Until everything out matched him. Krillin has the ability to give a player a Senzu Bean each day, allowing the player to block a nightkill the following night.

Z-Fighter - Nothing special about this guy, he's just another Z-Fighter.

The Rebellious Saiyans

Raditz - The 'Long-haired Scout.' Raditz is the weakest Saiyan, but also the first threat to Goku. He works with Nappa to optionally kill someone each night. Immune to lynchings.

Nappa - The 'Best in the Business.' Nappa is a ruthless Saiyan soldier, he came to earth with Vegeta until he betrayed him. Works with Raditz to optionally kill someone each night. Immune to nightkills.

Just some recommendations/wonderings:

• Why are there Corrupted Z-Fighters if Frieza can already technically "corrupt" a player's vote? Is it just that Frieza starts with 3 votes? Also, does their ability just do nothing if they hit a Third Party player? A suggestion would be that there are no corrupted Z-Fighters to begin with, but each Night Frieza can manipulate the vote of only a Z-Fighter (but not a special one) and that that Z-Fighter's colour becomes Red after they have been manipulated.
• I like the concept of Majin Buu, but think it would be a better, more fun role, if they can use an ability from any dead player (except for Third Party, or the ability could be a Nightkill in that case), but can only use each ability once. For example, if Goku is killed, Majin Buu can use that ability for one Night, but never again after that.
• The specials for the Z-Fighters team are just classic Mafia roles with special names. I would be interesting if you had at least one role that somehow linked to a Mafia role to contradict its effect to an extent.
• Finally, do the two TP individuals still get a Nightkill if one dies?

Don't get me wrong though, it's a solid game, I just think there's room for clarification and maybe some changes to the roles that could be beneficial but aren't required imo to make this a successful, playable game

The corrupted Z-Fighters fill the role of a miller except with that special twist. Basically Frieza has the choice of lynch votes counting as 1, if the ability isnt used, 2 if the ability is used and successfully targets a Z-Fighter or 3 if lucky and successfully targets a Corrupted Z-Fighter.

Piccolos role was thought of by ZM and I think it is kinda new, and in regards to your idea about Majin Buu, it may work better and I was originally going to have it so it was the last two nights, so maybe that would work better.

Also no, if one third party dies that means the other can still nightkill, however I might make it so it removes their immunity.

This is a WIP game that I put together in one night. Rez and I were DMing on Discord and he came up with an excellent game based around DBZ. I said what if I made a game revolved around Naruto? So thus I did. There are probably flaws with this game so any criticism would be appreciated! I probably won't submit it for M31 host signups, but I definitely will for M32 host signups!

Fourth Great Ninja War

-18 players.
-Cardflip.
-Town wins if all the Mafia is killed.
-Mafia wins if the Mafia number equals or outnumbers the Town.
-Third Party wins if he's the last one standing.
-Roles can only be used at night.
-Lynch votes must be in bolded red. If you don't bold it that's fine, but if the lynch vote isn't red, it won't be counted.
-If you want to be a sub, please don't hesitate to post in the Mafia Discussion thread. You'll then replace a player if they're either too inactive or they drop out.

The Akatsuki
Madara: One of the Leaf Village's founders and one of the greatest threats in the history of the Ninja World. Has the ability to activate Infinite Tsukoyomi once throughout the entire game. Lynch votes will not be counted whatsoever the following day. Infinite Tsukoyomi will be announced at the beginning of the day phase. If Madara is roleblocked the night he attempts to use Infinite Tsukoyomi, then Infinite Tsukoyomi will simply be delayed for the next day.
Obito: The founder of the Akatsuki who used Madara's identity for years to manipulate the Ninja World. With his sheer skill in manipulation, Obito cardflips green, even upon inspection. Additionally, he uses Izanagi to cheat death if targeted by a killer, but after it is used once, it is no longer able to be used.
Nagato: The figurehead of the Akatsuki. With his Six Paths of Pain, he can target a player each night, and he will be notified if that player was visited that night.
Zetsu: Madara's so-called creations. There is White Zetsu who has millions of clones of himself, and there's Black Zetsu, who is working with Madara. Using White Zetsu's ability traps the targeted player, disabling their ability for the night. Using Black Zetsu's ability causes him to attach himself to the selected player's body. That player will be silenced for the day phase. Zetsu has to choose whether to use White Zetsu or Black Zetsu's ability at night. Zetsu cannot use the same ability two nights in a row.

The Ninja Alliance
Naruto: The jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox and one of the greatest shinobi in the Ninja Alliance. He can read peoples' chakra and is able to tell what rolecolor the selected player has.
Sakura: One of the greatest medical ninja right under Lady Tsunade. She is able to heal a player each night. That player will not only be immune to nightkills that night, but will be protected from any other ability from the Akatsuki or Orochimaru.
Sasuke: The only survivor from the massacre of the Uchiha Clan, aside from Obito and Madara. He has been a rogue ninja for a long time, but has decided to aid the Ninja Alliance. Sasuke is able to use his impressive visual prowess to see if the targeted player was visited that night. Cardflips red because the Ninja Alliance isn't positive if he has good intent.
Kakashi: Kakashi is a world-known ninja who is much respected, and the captain of Squad 7. Kakashi was given the Sharingan years back by Obito. With this, he is able to use the Mangekyou technique Kamui to trap a player in another dimension. That player's lynch vote will not count the following day. If a member of the Akatsuki or Orochimaru is targeted, his lynch vote will count as two.
Alliance Shinobi: A regular shinobi. Has no special ability, but is aiding the Ninja Alliance.

Orochimaru: A former Leaf Village Jounin who went rogue to become immortal and learn all jutsu. Orochimaru's goal is to be the last one standing. He is able to kill a player every night. Additionally, he is immune to nightkills, as he can simply take on a new body using a vessle if his current body is deteriorated.

I am a bit hesitant on Gohan though, since he cannot lynch unless Goku is dead but the fact that he knows Goku as well as the only one who can block Cell out, I believe he will still be a much needed role. I feel like there is more he could do though.

That goes with the role, its not over poweed because it is needed otherwise it would remove the reason for Gohan being gentle. Gohan blocks out Cells regeneration which turns him from a big threat to a fair fight. Removing the ability of them knowing each other would be difficult because then how would the player as Gohan know if he could lynch or not. It is better the way it is, and makes more sense. Gohan is weaker as he cant lynch, and Goku protects him because he is a huge assest as it blocks Cells ability, and if Goku dies then Gohan can lynch afterwards.

M#: Mother Razzia

Plot:

A few years ago, Runouw.com was a lovely, flourish forum. The community was small and easy to grasp. Drama and troublemakers were rare. LDCs and RVs and other events happened regularily. But at some time some of the thorough, righteous staff retired due to RL trouble, and we failed at finding proper replacements. This came together with a general trend of becoming more and more of a closed selfish memeing community with many showings of bad mannerisms by so-called "veterans", a group of conspired users and staffers with Raz as their leader, and they have a dark vision of turning the forums away from their original values and activities. They only want it to be a grey lonely place full of memes and shitposting and they just want to be there for themselves, not wanting to welcome any new members.

But there are still a few fellow Runouwians left who want to hang out piecely and maturely and who are still interested into features as the Level Designer and forum games and events and various other stuff. On April Fools day they notice that their lovely forums don't look like they always did and that all colour was gone from all of a sudden and a strange announcement topic called "Welcome Razzia, the Motherland" showed up. Not to forget that the Level Portal was suddenly defunct as well. Of course this would be an April Fools. But the next day after the greyness was still there, and something awkward was going on! The Runouwians decided to take action and stand up against these strange occurences and to liberate the level portla, and to fight back for their real runouw.com. They persuaded Runouw himself to become active again and ban one person each day. The Razzian group reacts by furtively banning one insurgent each night.

Background plot (quoted from official timeline):

April 1st 2015 hits like a punch to the face with the first major April Fools Day event in years. This year's two day event: Raz has become Razputin and has taken over the forums, making them into Mother Razzia. Oppressive communist hijinks ensue making the whole forums grayscale. Runouwians fight back for color against the gray Razzians culminating in a spam war in the home forums of the two camps. Despite fierce battle, the organized regiments of the Razzian oppressors win the day, but then decide that this place is too rowdy for them and leave anyways. Medals are handed out for the first successfully completed "takeover" prank, and many cite this as the best April Fools ever.

Gameplay:

The normal version is designed for 16-18 players with 3 Mafia, 10-12 Townies and 3 Third Parties. There's supposed to be two possible roles for the 3rd Mafia and Third party, which will be chosen randomly (Oranjui or Bamsmarck; PurpleYoshi or Nwolf).

The description of the executioner's target clearly hints towards one specific Runouwian (me, kek), but it still could be anyone in the game.

Mother Razzians:

Raz: Always being a wary and abrasive person, you don't care about new members joining runouw and you only want this to be a place for you and your friends. Because of your talent on building up relations, the staff decided to promote you to moderator when a replacement was needed. You are now in a strong position and finally want to take your plans into action and want to get rid of everyone who shows resistance.

You're the classical godfather: you cardflip green and you have nightkill immunity. Your dirty work will be done by FrozenFire. If he's impeded e.g. due to being jailed, you'll kill your target by your own hands.

FrozenFire: You've become Raz' closest fellow quickly as soon as you started to become active on the forums. Although you are a level mod, you've lost a lot of interest into the level designing scene and you just have a stronger passion for shitposting and other immature stuff.

You are Raz' fellow Mafioso, and you'll blindly comply to Raz' orders and you won't stop killing until death overtakes you. If Raz dies, you'll be promoted to be the new godfather.

Oranjui: (Framer) You're royally skilled at being hypocritical and twisting words, and you're very talented at tampering with evidence and badmouthing people you don't like.

Because you're such a skilled framer, you can target one person each night so that they cardflip red until the next day. Your target won't know that they're framed. If FF or Raz die, you'll receive killing abilities while keeping your original abilities.

Bamsmarck: Originally you've joined the forums as a RL friend of Oranjui, and not only you're eloquent and in love with shitposting, you also have a ton of thumbs-up in your bags that you can bribe people with.

You can bribe one person each night, so they're forced to vote against a person of your own choice on the next day. The person bribed will know this. If your target is in jail or dies, the bribe fails. If FF or Raz die, you'll receive killing abilities while keeping your original abilities.

Runouwians:

Runouw: As the founder and owner of the site and the developper of SM63 and Last Legacy, you've separated yourself from the community once it became so tight-knit and unwelcoming, and you only want to focus on your own development career; however with the start of Mother Razzia users are screaming at you to become active and save them.

As the Mayor, you must claim your role publicly. Once you do this, your votes will be worth 3.

Karyete: You're one of the most down-to-earth and impartial members of the site and you're skilled at solving conflicts. You've been around for almost five years and wish to keep this a welcoming place, and you want to use your powers to the best to bring Mother Razzia down.

You're the common doctor and you can heal a person each night, so they're immune to nightkills (they also can't be shot if they visit a veteran on alert, but they can still be executed by the jailor or eaten by a werewolf). You have one chance to heal yourself. If you save a person from the serial killer (PY) or werewolf, this will cost your own life.

-BY: Instead of posting a lot, you usually prefer to have a look over everything behind the scenes. You're one of the most impressive members and your voice is usually taken very seriously.

You're the sheriff and you can investigate a person each night to look for suspicious activities. You'll make a person cardflip once you investigate them. If you investigate the werewolf, they'll only cardflip orange in a full moon night, else they'll cardflip green.

Supershroom: You've joined with the hope of conquering the community by assault, and you've made many enemies over your zealous attitude. This has made you both relentless and super paranoid towards everyone you don't trust.

You're a veteran and you can choose to go on alert each night in order to kill everyone who visits you, ignoring night immunity - the werewolf is your only fear. Whether it's a Razzian, Runouwian or any other individual, you have no regrets. You have 3 alerts in total, so you must use them wisely.

MessengerOfDreams: You're one of the most passionful Runouwians and most legendary designers, but your language has a very special touch of being blunt and full of cuss words. You have a clear imagination about how things are supposed to be run and you're usually very deadset on your opinions.

You're the jailor and you have the power to arrest one person each night. This will roleblock them, but also protect them against any other attacks. Once you arrest someone, you can talk with them anonymously, and you can decide to execute them; overall you have 3 executions possible. However, once you execute a Runouwian, you'll lose your remaining executions, and if you arrest the serial killer or werewolf and you don't execute him, you'll die.

Venexis: You're one of the most relaxed and sophisticated staff members, but you also are in a friendly relation to Raz and his fellows, especially from Minecraft. You have no idea of what evil stuff they're doing.

You're the Miller, a normal Runouwian but you cardflip red. You don't know yourself that you're the Miller.

Normal Users: (5x) You've joined for level designing at first and you want to defend the level portal once you start to notice the ongoings.

You have no special abilities other than to vote and talk.

Third parties:

Zunar: You honestly don't care about the conflicts going on between Razzians and Runouwians and you just want to survive and play standard forum games.

Your goal is to survive until the end of the game. You can choose to wear a bulletproof vest at night so you have nightkill immunity. You have 4 vests in total.

Emelia K. Fletcher: (Executioner) You're one of the most toxic and aggressive people the site has ever seen, your lack of interpunction already indicates that. You have a serious grudge against one specific Runouwian who dislikes this kind of attitude and you thirst after seeing them suffer.

You're the executioner, your goal for winning the game is to have your specific hate target lynched (it's always a Runouwian), and you're immune to nightkills. If your target is lynched, you'll win the game even if you die later. If it happens that your target dies at night, you'll go crazy and turn into a jester. This means that you now seek after getting lynched yourself to win the game, and if you accomplish this, you can haunt a person who voted guilty the following night in order to kill them, this ignores night immunity.

PurpleYoshi: (Serial Killer) You're a disordered kid with a severe lack of understanding how proper posting works, and you were called a noob and you were punished multiple times for that. You have developped a psychotic hatred against the community overall and you want to see everyone die here.

You're the serial killer and you want to be the last person standing on the forums, so noone will disturb your infinite spamming. You can target a person to kill them each night or you can kill a person that visits you instead of your original target, and you're immune to nightkills yourself. If you try to kill the godfather or executioner, nothing will happen.

Nwolf: (Werewolf) Although you've always posed as a wolf and not a human, nobody knows so far that you CAN indeed transform into a wolf in fact every second night (beginning with Night 2).

Each full moon night, you can decide to stay at home and kill everyone who visits you, or you rampage at another person's house and kill this person and everyone who visits them. No matter what, you ignore night immunity and you also cannot be killed during a full moon night, except if you're executed by the jailor or you visit a veteran on alert (in this case, both of you die).

(13 Players / Cardflip; Role Choices)

This game revolves around the gimmick of allowing players to choose their Role from a list of options at the beginning of the game. Role PMs with their options will be sent out first and the game will not start until all players have replied to the Host with their choice. Then players will learn the names of their teammates (if they are of the Dark Creatures) and the game thread will open. Role PMs are below:

Dark Creatures
Leader (x1):

You are not only just one of the Dark Creatures, but you are also their leader. You may choose to be a Dark Elf or a Necromancer.

• Dark Elf: You are a deceptive and cunning. Your word goes among your team and your Lynch Vote counts as 2. You can collaborate with your teammates each Night to kill a player, however of course, you have vito power over their votes.
• Necromancer: You are a frightening sorcerer who can communicate with the undead. Your word goes among your team and once during the game you may revive a player of your choice (at Night). You can collaborate with your teammates each Night to kill a player, however of course, you have vito power over their votes.

Minion (x2):

You are one of the minions under the leader of the Dark Creatures. You may choose to be an Otherworldly Scribe, a Shadow Weaver, or a Grolm Rider.

• Otherworldly Scribe: You are an unusual creature. No one knows your face and you can travel back and forth between the land of the dead and that of the living. Each Night you can inspect a dead player to find out their Role. You can collaborate with your teammates each Night to kill a player.
• Grolm Rider: You are a goblin rider of one of the most feared creatures: a grolm. Everyone is frightened of you because of this, so you may target a player each Night. Just by revealing yourself in the distance, that player will be unable to use their Ability if they have one (Roleblocked).
• Shadow Weaver: You are a stealthy human with some dark powers. Each Night you can wrap a player in a shroud of shadows making them cardflip Black the next day. You can collaborate with your teammates each Night to kill a player.

Light Creatures
Greater Dragon (x1):

You are the strongest and most powerful of dragons, allied with the other Light Creatures. You may be either a Gold Dragon or a Silver Dragon.

• Gold Dragon: You are a strong-willed and majestic dragon. You can choose up to 2 players each Night. During the next Day Phase, you may change these player's Lynch Votes from one player to another. (If they do not vote, you cannot do anything to that player's vote.)
• Silver Dragon: You are a clever, resourceful young dragon. You can craft a Magic Power Rod twice during the game. On two Nights of your choosing, placing a Magic Power Rod on a player will cause all Abilities (including Nightkills) to be focused on them, except for those from the Third Party for that Night only. If there are two Crafty Iron Dragons and two Magic Power Rods are used on the same Night on different targets, they will have no effect on targets of Abilities and Nightkills.

Lesser Dragon (x2):

You are one of the less powerful dragons, although you are still one of the strongest creatures allied with the other Light Creatures. You may be either a Green Dragon, an Rainbow Dragon, or a Crafty Iron Dragon.

• Green Dragon: You are a calm, simple-minded dragon, however you have a strong grasp on the powers of nature. You can wrap a player in vines each Night, making then unable to use their Ability that Night and cast a Lynch Vote the next Day.
• Rainbow Dragon: You are a beautiful creature and can choose your colour (Red, Orange, Green, or Blue) each Night. This choice of colour will last up until the end of the next Day phase.
• Crafty Iron Dragon: You are a unique, semi-robotic dragon that is very intelligent due to your increased mental capacity. You can use your advanced digital programming to find out the colour of a player each Night.

Healer/Avenger (x1):

You are a skilled elf trained in either that art of violence or healing, allied with the other Light Creatures. You may be either a River Elf or a Scarlet Elf.

• River Elf: You are a skilled healer and peacemaker. You can choose one player each Night and follow them around. Although you cannot prevent an Ability from being used on them, if a Nightkill is attempted on them they will live.
• Scarlet Elf: You are skilled with a bow and arrow and have heavy bonds with all if your teammates. You can kill any player on a Night after an innocent has been Lynched, however you will be distressed if you kill a member of the Light Creatures and will lose your Ability until the Third Party player or a member of the Dark Creatures has been Lynched.

Common Elvenfolk (x5):

You are one of the Common Elvenfolk allied with the Light Creatures. Although you have no special Abilities, you may actually be the one Cursed Elf (of course not by choice).

Third Party
(x1):

You are your own party; allied with no one. You can either be a Glimmering Pixie or the Rogue Dwarf.

• Glimmering Pixie: You are a tiny, fairy-like creature with some special powers. Not only are you immune to Lynches, since it's really not easy to catch you, but you can also sprinkle a player in Pixie Dust each Night, such that it will remain on them for the rest of the game. However, if you sprinkle a Dark Creature with Pixie Dust, nothing will happen.
• Rogue Dwarf: You are a tough, strong dwarf with quite the attitude and craftsmanship skills. Not only are you immune to Nightkills, but each Night you can place a bomb on a player that will explode at the end of the next Night.

Game Mechanics
Cardflip: The colour of players will be revealed upon death, but not the true colour if their colour was changed by an ability.

Light Creatures Win Condition: Normal Town Win Condition (All Dark Creatures and Third Party killed).
Third Party Win Condition: If Glimmering Pixie--all live players must be covered in Pixie Dust and all Dark Creatures killed; else if Rogue Dwarf is chosen--last one standing.

surely she was / is, but I was recommended to reduce the game down to something around 16-18 players, and so I had to scrap one blue role as well, and I also realized that the Escort isn't that much of a powerful character sometimes (compared to e.g. a veteran), as in e.g. she's not able to block the Serial Killer (she would die herself from that) and if she blocks the mafioso, the godfather will still perform the planned kill.
