The reason why I take shots at modern POP artists is because most of them don't write their own music, and most of the music is electronically developed.

I have respect for most older artists because 1: their music is standing the test of time rather well 2: They contribute to writing their own music and while rough cuts are a thing, they don't take 20-30 people to add all the electronic and autotune effects, usually. Bear in mind, I don't have NO respect for any of the new artists. I still give nods towards artists like Lorde and Beyonce and modern popular music is still well done and catchy.

I would have a better written response and argument if I had more time and a less likelihood of crashing mid-post trying to look up resorces.

1: See my point about intersubjectivity (a number of people thinks these artists stand the test of time, this has no influence on the actual quality of the artist's music).
2: Does it really matter how it was made, though? The way I see it, the only thing that matters is whether or not you enjoy the art an sich, independently of how much effort it took to create or how much the artist who is credited contributed to the art themselves.

Thought experiment: let's say I invite the most renowned composers of our time to write a piece together for orchestra, preferrably as long and complex and technically challenging as possible. It must be polyrhythmic, use non-western keys, it must be microtonal, etc. Then, I invite the most technically proficient instrument players to play the piece, which they play end up playing perfectly after practicing many, many times. The composers and players record and is acclaimed by music critics as the best thing to come out of modern classical music. Then you decide to listen to it. The piece sounds like an entirely frustrating mess to you and you can't even be bothered to finish it, such a drag is it to listen to it. Now, would you deny yourself the right to dislike the piece because of the incredible effort that went into composing and playing it, or because a bunch of bozos tell you you're supposed to like it? Wouldn't you rather just listen to the music that truly excites you, regardless of how much effort went into it or how popular it is?

Same but for TLoU.

I was in a match and then my whole team left and it was me vs a team with almost all of their respawns. IIRC I only got like 7 downs bc the other team had players with levels into the hundreds.

Back when I had a PS3, I played a lot of Resident Evil 5 Versus. When I'd play Team Survivors and got a bad player on my team, they were basically my meat shield and distracted the other team so I could kill them easier. I was really good back then... back then... Good times... I miss them ;-;

When I see people in Steam discussion threads saying they got scammed out of their [insert fabulous hats here]. It's extremely annoying, especially when 99% of these guys openly admit to clicking on phishing links. Repeatedly. God people are stupid.

I have a genuine Awper 360-Noscope rifle and it pisses people off.

I have a Satans Flamethrower and it pisses them off.

Oh and my Botkiller rocket launcher.
