I just mean, you can just make a program which calculate math question (Because it is not an image) and BAM, you get in.

uh yeah here's a basic recap of how this all started
I wrote:OK, so earlier this morning, a bunch of spambots were taking over the stardust fields IRC channels.
I was the only staff member around on SMBX.org, so I kicked them and such and changed the mode to +i, which cause some confusion.
About 5 minutes ago at the time of this post, I at least became unable to connect to SMBX.org or irc.stardustfields.net at all. It appears that they have been DDoSed by the spambot group. This seemed to happen immediately after zlakergirl357 and sleepy clued me in to the leaders of the spambot group and I got rid of them. I doubt this is a coincidence.
I apologize if this is somehow my fault. I was only trying to stop the spambots... I don't know too much about IRC syntax, so I apologize for being somewhat ineffective. Special thanks to Sinem for helping me out back there.
Since SMBX.org and irc.stardustfields.net are down now I just wanted to explain the downtime somewhere where people would see it. I'm also posting this message on Privana.
We're not certain who is behind the spambots or anything, I'm afraid.

Why was Pseudo-dinos topic about the stuff removed. Whats was wrong with it? Seriously don't just remove informative threads like this geez.

It was removed because it didn't need to be an announcement anymore.

Isn't this what stuff like that is for?
Either way good to see that the forums are back.

Nickname laying down the controversy. Why
wasn't the topic archived exactly?

Why isn't it in the archive? Shouldn't people know what happened? Shouldn't the userbase be updated about it?
If i wouldn't got Pseudo the chat would have been spammed for another 8 hours.

Where are we supposed to post fanfiction and fanon stories while the FF forum is still locked/unfinished (since 6 months?)?
My thread in the Sandbox was locked.

You don't. You have to be patient and wait until Joey and Quill are finished with the subforum.

I let everybody know what happened in this thread.

That has nothing to do with whether or not the topic was removed.

So why did you say now the autism thread should end. Care to elaborate a bit more?

You don't have to be so confrontational.
The autism thread wasn't that good to begin with and then it was bumped and people made it worse.

Did you actually take the introduction poll into consideration, or was it all your opinion again?

Take a look at the introductions poll before you jump to conclusions. More people were against bringing back the forum and Joey just so happened to be on that side.

I know, but his reply didn't mention the poll, and it sounded similar to other "I will not consider this topic and it needs to stop". So that's why I thought he was using his opinion.

While chances are he did choose to end it by his opinion, at least he wasn't acting against the wishes of the majority of the community this time.

There's nothing to consider. We removed the introductions forum for a reason and we're not bringing it back.

It wasn't bumped. Witchking made a new thread and his post got merged into the autism thread. Also by worse who actually? It was mainly AeroMatter since he said stuff there that shouldn't be said + if it wasn't good to begin with why wasn't it locked in the first place?
It's sometimes hard for me to understand why you decide like this.

I'm going to make a comment that's directed at threads here in general and why they're locked/will be locked in the future:
In order to grow as a community we need to have threads that stimulate good discussion - that is, actual discussion instead of people just making posts about themselves. For example, a "Music Discussion" thread is much better than a "What are you listening to?" thread. Do both threads involve users sharing the music they like? Yes, but a thread about music in general promotes a lot more discussion. We need to get away from primitive typical forum threads and move to just actually talking like normal people.
The autism thread wasn't necessarily primitive, but I would have rather it died back in October than be revived like it was. If we want to discuss Autism we should just make a general topic about it.

Then again, it's been a long time since I saw a discussion spark from our music discussion thread.
