In Luigi mansion 3, there is only one floor for residents in the "Hotel".
Also, why isn't there any staircase in the "Hotel", I get it is to prevent Luigi from skipping collecting button to the rooftop. But please, have the stairs exists but destroyed so that Luigi can't use that.

Wanna hear a screwed-up video game logic? Okay, lemme tell ya:
If Hooktail eats poor and innocent Koopas, then why are there freaking Koopas inside her damn castle all of a sudden?!?

There are several floors for guests. RIP Suites, Garden Suites, Twisted Suites. Tomb Suites has suites in its name, but there aren't really any rooms in there.

I know it's crazy to use video game logic from a Chinese bootleg game, but I don't care:
In the Mega Drive game, Water Margin (Or Shui Hu Feng Yun Zhuan, if you live in China), the elite soldier type enemies dies faster than the normal soldier enemies

In the beloved 1980's SEGA arcade game, Shinobi, why are there ninjas working for the terrorists?

Well... this one had a video game to anime adaptation, so I guess it counts?
But what I was thinking, is that in the PMD: EoS promotion anime (Piplup and Chimchar), it says at the beginning that it is a world without humans.
...yet they know what a human is.

Anyone played Phantasy Star 1 on the SEGA Master System? When you run from enemy battles in dungeons, you walk up to the spot you got ambushed, and he's gone!

In Sonic Forces, a failed double boost is just as good as a successful double boost

the ghosts created the mansion as an illusion to lure in luigi remember? it didn’t have to have functionality, as long as it fooled luigi, which it did, considering luigi only ever saw the lobby and the suites before the illusion faded.

In Streets of Rage/Bare Knuckle 2, you character's standing jump kick deals more damage than a moving jump kick. No joke!

In Super Mario Bros. 2, the snifits and shy guys can be stood on, picked up, and thrown, while in every other Mario game they are defeated when stomped on.

I'd attribute this as a game-specific gimmick rather than something illogical

I guess so. If anything, it's more of an example of inconsistency than it is one of something Illogical. But yeah, I guess it was something only in that game.

How and why do Pokemon evolve when they trade, the only one I can understand really is Karrablast/Shelmet, as there is some dex entries that say that Karrablast steals Shelmets armor during the process, but that raises more questions, like, how conscious are Pokemon in the Pokeball?

Anyone here in the SMBX community remembers Skifree? In that game, if you ski into a tree, you survived and the tree catches fire
