I used no layers or events. That'll probably affect my score greatly.
But even if I don't do all that great, I had fun, and that's the main thing.
omg that sounded so cheesy

I made myself do the 1 hour make-a-level challenge... It seemed fun, but I don't think anyone would like to play a level made in a hour.

Hearing that there are joke levels, I actually don't fear that I'll get last place anymore, but I do think it might be low for it's short length that what I guess only 4 minutes long.

My level is like 2 minutes long. 30 seconds if you speed run it.

I got last place in CC6 with that stunt. Itbwas not intentional, since I found out on the last day, but meh.

PSA: People tend to forget this but criticism is something you can absorb and use to improve. It's nothing to be offended by, no matter how much it deviates from your initial guess as to how it will be received.
That being said, don't hesitate to ask judges which don't elaborate on their points in private to get more information from them. A contest isn't about "oh shit I got 25th place again", it's about measuring your current capabilities against other people and learning from that.
PSA over. Looking forward to the reviews!

Someone give this man a medal. You hit the nail on the head perfectly. The whole point of a contest is not to whine about how bad your level placed against the others; it's to have fun. It's not about the winning, it's how you placed and how well you measure up against the others.

So am I the only one who doesn't care about the levels, and is just excited for the SVLC 2016 Episode? I am SO HYPED RIGHT NOW!
Hey, two quick questions! Will the episode be a world map, or a hub? And also, will the episode itself be completely vanilla?

They're getting pretty close though. I guesstimate that in about a week, we'll start seeing the first results.
Plus, I just needed an excuse to make that pun & post that video

That doesn't mean they can't start making the episode. All you really need to make it is to know the number of submissions into the contest.
*Hype train back on rails!*

I kinda finished my level last second. I think i would have finished it earlier, if i hadn't been distracted by so many other things.
But i submited a level and It sucks I think I had fun making it. And that's the most important thing, right?

Was I the only person who didn't leave their level to the last second?

Nope. I submitted my level 2 weeks ahead of the due date.
But other than that, yeah, we're the only ones. Welcome to the anti-procrastination club!

No, it's just that people who rush it usually point it out to excuse its possibly poor quality.
