Please specify your issue further. What errors are you getting?
Only 12525 errors. (Fehlerzahl means errors; unbekannte Methode means unknown methode.)

Extract the files with 7-Zip this will fix your problem.

And why are you getting a WinRAR error? If you extracted the files, it doesn't make sense.

Only a foolish fool from a land of fools could think of foolishly trying to use it without exctracting the data foolishly foolish. Well, if every single data is the cause of an error, something is wrong with your zip-data, so I'm pretty sure another download will fix da problem.

Don't whip us, please.
So, question, is PGE a hack of SMBX? Or a whole new thing?

PGE is an entirely different program built from scratch based on Wholstand's work on reverse-engineering SMBX.
He's going to make it do everything SMBX can do + everything intended in 2.0 + a most things from the fanmade 1.4 and a few other things suggested by people.
He will eventually turn it into a graphical project making software (similar to gamemaker I guess).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I know based on my lurking.

PGE Editor is an editor that can edit SMBX 1.0 - SMBX 2.0 level, world and NPC text files. It's also a much better and convinient editor than vanilla SMBX one. So yeah it's a completely new thing.
PGE Engine is an engine that is planned to be a sequel to SMBX, and is being close to the first stable release.

You need to extract the files with the program i tell you 7-zip because when i tried to extract SMBX 2.0 Open Beta with WinRAR, i got several error messages, so when i used 7-zip to extract the files it worked
Also maybe your WinRAR will not extract compressed 7z files in all computers (or is your WinRAR version), so i recommend to extract the files with 7-Zip this will work as i mentioned above... Or update your WinRAR version to the lastest version and maybe will work...

Did you extract the contents of the zip file or did you just try to run SMBX right after downloading the package?

So, now that we have onKeyboardPress, will Rosalina's fireball honing be easier to control?

This might have been asked already (I apologize for that), but will the final product no longer require making changes on our own to get characters, the starman, etc, to work?

Is it just me, or is Samus behaving like unmodified Link?

For me Samus works just fine. So it would really help if you two would specify your problem!

There was an error in Samus' code (makes me wonder how that even got into any release, even a beta), but I think it was fixed at some point. Try redownloading?
