Winning against a 1900 and a 2000 player in a row in today's Sparta Arena at Lichess

Played my first disc golf tournament, played the lowest division that anyone actually signed up for. My goal was to average over an 800 rated round, so there was a lot of pressure for me after my first round (+13) came in at 781 rated. I made a few corrections and tried to loosen up my mental game for round 2 and managed to shoot a +7 that ended up being 839 rated. Averaged 810, and would have been higher if I hadn’t accidentally dropped my disc during a tap-in putt. Pretty happy with that even though I placed 11/13 in my division (although apparently one kid above was stroke shaving huge amounts on his scorecard, so I probably actually got 10th and not 11th)

I order the new limited time Whataburger item for lunch. That's all

Online school's starting in two weeks for me, actually kinda relieved that it's not physical school because of all the noise and distractions

I think I'm starting to feel more energized again. For real this time. It feels like I'm returning to 2013 in a way.

It helps that I no longer have to worry about organizing electronics such as my consoles, because everything is already set up. I was lucky to find a way to travel back to my hometown even with COVID-19 measures in place. I just needed a break from the Vancouver area to get back to what I know better.

I dreamed that my temple stem broke off from so many times of putting my mask on and off.

Now this is one of the craziest dreams EVER!!!

I dreamed that I could fly with the jellyfish while bringing FIRE down UPON MY ENEMIES!!!

As a response to Bayern's 8:2 against Barcelona ... I dreamed that it was already 2022 and Germany advanced to the World Cup finals again ... dunno what came from it though!

Last yesterday, while dreaming, I woke up on a planet that I call Ceres. I was talking to an old man who passed on knowledge to me. I looked like a child.

There were structures in very perfect geometric shapes that contained precious crystals in them. The beings that populated the planet were advanced, they had subsistence systems that respected the environment and maintained the ecosystem in a kind of energetic protection that conserved and improved planetary harmony as well as that of its inhabitants.

Suddenly, I was excited. I looked up at the sky and couldn't contain my joy. And while pointing my index finger up, I quickly yelled at the old man:

Look, that's Saturn! Do you see the rings? - Saturn showed beautiful rings and a shade of yellow - And that's Jupiter over there! Wow, how many stars, they are forming the constellation of Sagittarius! How incredible that's Venus! - I couldn't stop getting excited, it was like a cataract of feelings that flowed when contemplating the cosmos.

Have you seen? There is also Mars! It has a pretty reddish tone! - As I pointed with the index finger of my right hand towards the sky, more constellations appeared that I was recognizing - That is the constellation of the Dragon! And that's the constellation of the Dolphin...!

My surprise came when at a certain moment I saw the Earth, not far away. And then I said, "And that... is the Earth!" - Of course, at that moment I realized that I was not on Earth. I had spent all my time believing I was on Earth and then realized that it was not so, that I was between Mars and Jupiter, between what we now call the Asteroid Belt, that is, the remains of the planet Ceres.

However, I could not continue the dream, as someone called my phone and woke me up.

End of the dream.

What happened to Ditchencat? They were pretty prominent on the Discord server and the forum in early 2017, but it seems like they've silently left; their last activity on the forum was last year.

weren't they also banned from the discord for some reason ...

When I was a kid I was very quite and shy, and also sometimes it was hard for me to find friends and to be like my friends I found.
I was bullied some times because of my personality that I was weird.
But with the time, I became less like that and became more accepted.
In high school I even was like a class clown but also the best student at class, but still was not much at the commuinty (like that I didn't spend time with friends out of school..).
But now I left my friends long time ago, and I dont have friends anymore.. (Im not sad or somthing.)
So tell me what kind of pepole were you at the past, and also now.

I was a social outcast and jerk during my high school years! But not anymore, since I have friends on both internet and rl!

I used to be really annoying and talk a lot and try to dominate the discussion in many scenarios when I was younger. In high school I realized that I was a lot more likable if I talked less and kept to myself more, but this led to me isolating myself from other people and not really growing as a person. Late into high school I was able to open up a little more and maintain friendships and such.

In college I have had a really hard time. It’s been back to square zero and since I’ve basically just treated it like a job I have made zero friends. Living off campus and not interacting with campus life at all led me to be really judgmental and hesitant about my peers. Since the transition to online it’s been a little bit easier to not let that get to me as much, but we’ll see how that plays out this semester.

Compared to others, I had a more difficult time keeping up with current trends such as pop culture. Still true to this day, and I never keep up with internet memes.

I have always been curious to try many new things, though sometimes they either cost a lot of money or were limited to the big city, where I wasn't living at the time. Now that I do have the money, I don't have as much time for new things. Even though I have more of both now, I can't try new things when I can't currently interact with the general public. I just can't win.

I couldn't really get involved in anything competitive during my childhood (especially not competitive sports), and I still have a bit of trouble with it now. Despite this, I have always had the urge that I needed to do something good to reach the top in some way.

Finally, I would get distracted too easily, trying to juggle several things in my mind at once. Sometimes, it's understandable, because the distraction can be something serious, but usually it's something small. I still can't help it.

So...I guess not too much has changed between then and now.

Life has been pissing me off lately. People lately takes MY SPACE lately, and it's pissing me off!
