I almost didn't notice them at first, but they're there, you just have to listen closely, behind the shredding and screaming heavy metal vocals.
I forgot to ask when you posted a picture of your vinyls, does your Zep IV copy have the "Do what thou wilt" scripture on the vinyl?TNTtimelord wrote:

My Zep IV copy doesn't have any scripture on it other than the Stairway To Heaven lyrics, record label credits, and the long picture with the hooded figure and the lamp on the inside.Enchlore wrote:I forgot to ask when you posted a picture of your vinyls, does your Zep IV copy have the "Do what thou wilt" scripture on the vinyl?TNTtimelord wrote:*video*

Oh, okay. The original pressings had "Do what thou wilt" written on the vinyl (the actual vinyl), which Jimmy Page had done on the acetate with black marker or something.TNTtimelord wrote:My Zep IV copy doesn't have any scripture on it other than the Stairway To Heaven lyrics, record label credits, and the long picture with the hooded figure and the lamp on the inside.
EDIT: I took photos of all the sides I have. From order: Front cover, Back Cover, Inside cover, Record sock front, Record song back (contains Stairway To Heaven lyrics), Side 1 of the record, Side 2 of the record.

I believe the one my parents have (or i have now ;)) is likely from the later 70s or post-Physical Graffiti. I wouldn't doubt that the "The Wall" double album we have downstairs is an original copy.Enchlore wrote:Oh, okay.
