The entire game is built on item luck, Mario Kart 8 is shit.

Just because of the whole luck of item boxes doesn't mean the main game is bad! Infact, every Mario Kart Games is just luckbased on items after the roulettes from those item boxes. You gain stronger items the further you are behind but since we are like at rougth 4 racers for the most time during the end it wasn't really the case as I noticed that I oftenly gain regular items as much as you were on 1st (Coins) but also different.

Also prepared for the next tournament... hopefully. I'm not ready for 200cc though as it is still incredible tough for me to get used to.

Yes, all Mario Karts are based on luck, but the item balance of Mario Kart 8 is so extremly bad that I find it's just a "still okay" game.

Has anyone else noticed that green shells are considerably more effective in this game than any of the previous titles?
Red shells, on the other hand, are more frequently blocked off by another item or a corner.

The red shells are almost as dumb as in MK64, I hate 'em.

Yeah I feel like Green Shells do aim a bit for themselves. Also, is it just me or do I get hit by my own green about 50% of the time I attempt a GS snipe?

That's me, except every time. The Green Shell is more slightly more effective in this game I feel, I was racing on Rainbow Road N64, and I threw one to hit my friend in the higher position. The shell bounces off the same barrier 10 TIMES and I ended up hitting him in the end with it. By the way, what do you mean red shells stupid as in Mario Kart 64? I got one thrown at me and I was in the air and the thing stayed under me until I fell back down to the ground. Also, they were multiple times where I was in a very low pole for the tournament and got a good item, and it just so happens that the person in front of I'm trying to catch up to got a better item. Like, when I was in 4th and I got a mushroom, Nickname got triple mushrooms. T_T HOW'S THAT FAIR?!

HELL NO. everyone has it's own opinion, i just hate these sort of people who say in general a game is shit, and then everyone hates it, wtf is wrong with most people these day's plus....it isn't shit...
