Well, Ace took the score castlewars gave him like a champ, good for him. I'm not gonna get into this castlewars argument since idc enough though.

Doesn't matter whether he liked it or not. He completely dismissed it thinking it was a joke level (which it isn't), and for some reason he automatically assumes that joke levels deserve awful scores.
Even ignoring the scoring, he literally called the level silly and daft, and I'm still scratching my head on that one. I seriously put a lot of effort into making the sparky chase section, and he thought it was a joke? I wouldn't even care if he said it was bad, but a joke? I guess for people who haven't seen or played the level, it's hard to imagine what it would look like, but there is literally nothing in my level (aside from the text at the end, which doesn't contribute anything to the level itself) that is even remotely jokey.

this is a general level creating contest, not a mario level creating contest.
seems like a sort of trivial thing to take points off of (assuming you did).

By submitting your level you actually agreed on this, so I guess you'll need a little bit luck to get your level out. Also, of course the traditional tier system is going to be kept, because your idea with the difficulty curve is, no offense, not more than garbage, just inappropriate for a contest episode.

I love that castlewars doesn't even reply here, but keeps guessing the level names in the irc, he still hasn't guessed which my level was, and he took 74734628 years to guess emral's level.

I would love to be a judge for contest 8! Summer would mark the perfect time for me to do so.

I won't spoil.

I just knew that my Level isn't very the best but luckily it got that far. I am impressed.

I don't have anything to do this summer so I'd also like to be a jugde for the next contest.

I can't wait to know who is the winner! Though I'm out...

Places 6-10 unveiled! Notice that I've ditched castlewars's review on Ace's level (Sick Ass Swamp Romp) and reaveraged his scores resulting in Shinbison-Kof getting bumped to place 11. Sorry Shinbison. :(

The winner is Ace. We only don't know who's on #5-2. That's why Valtteri won't just unveil #5, #4 and #3 only like he probably would, because we'd know that Ace is the winner and the only remaining participant #2.

Quite interesting to see Sux in the Top 5 for once. His level in the six contest had a lot of potential, a masterpiece in terms of design and creativity, but a fail in terms of gameplay. Good luck to the four remaining participants, and congratulations to Ace!
