Given the penalty for killing a town role, it's unlikely the Vigilante was the cause of the nightkill. Night 1 is pretty much the worst time to use kills as a Townie, since you have literally no information if it's the starting phase. Also, the Mafia ideally want to be killing every night, so this was probably a Mafia kill attempt.
Note that this doesn't mean 8bit is definitely a townie, since he could be the Saboteur. But he's probably not Mafia.

I never would really shoot anyone as a Town Killing role. The vig should have at least wait another day.

Worst of all, does that mean the vig loses his gun for killing a bodyguard?

Calm down the vigi probably didn't kill anyone.

But the Vig can only shoot at the moment. Once it gets Night 2, a bomb would most likely kill some people, and in Night 3, the Mafia would be able to kill someone.

Huh? The Mafia can kill every night. Ofc the vig should shoot if he's certain of someone being Mafia, but especially on N1 a shot would be p much random. You don't really make sense tbh

Don't claim townie, it gives the Mafia more ideas about who to kill, especially if you're telling the truth.

I highly doubt the Vigi went for a kill. I mean, like Nickname said, it's only Night 1. The odds of killing a Mafioso would be very slim, so it'd be too risky for him to go for a kill since:
1. His ability would be disabled if he killed an innocent.
2. Since he's not in contact with all the Blues, he might kill one of them which would really hurt the Town.

Awe... man i just want to say/do something, but it would not be helpful and it would just hurt us town or might get us someone, but no... i feel that choco and 8bit had semi communication, but just might have beeb a random guard time... it is just my odd thoughts...

In General guarding someone N1 seems p odd tbh. Chances are you guide a green or the 3P, in which case it'd hurt the town if the chosen player gets attacked. But then again, idk how 8bit and Choco would've communicated. Maybe 8bit can give some inside to that?

I don't think 8bit and Choco were communicating each other. It's impossible for both of them to know if the other is innocent or not, so I don't think they were communicating.
Besides, I think Choco chose to protect 8bit randomly. I can't find any other reason, really.

Yeah idk why they'd communicate but imo randomly protecting as the BG seems rather dumb.

I wasn't communicating with Choco, unfortunately.

Alright, I'm extremely certain that if 8bit was lyiing, he wouldn't say that he wasn't in contact with Choco. If he was in contact with him, he would've gained human points.
That means that Choco randomly protected him, which is a really questionable strategy.

Also, we should decide on someone to lynch. If I have to pick someone, it'd be RoundPiplup, his behavior seems weird.

While I agree with you on that, I think we should wait to see if anyone else has any other leads.

Yeah, we definitely need more leads and especially more activity.

I was only telling you why the vig is the only possible person who can kill at night 1.

Also, randomly shooting as the vig is also an idiotic decision.

Read the roles, it's not possible for mafia in this game to shoot someone at night 1
