I would give him real world physics so he can't jump high and when he hits his head on a brick, he gets brain damage.

Doesn't stop him from chucking hammers at enemies...or Luigi in this case.

On an unrelated note, I would give him Link's unlimited use Warp Whistle, so he can break his games in half. He needs the thing after all these kidnappings. But then we wouldn't have any more Mario games.
