Sorry guys, I had since updated the episode to 4.0, and I took down the link to update it. It's up now, though.
And no, walking on the mushroom houses there next to 1-2 isn't a glitch at all.

Is this episode is 1.3 2.0 or 1.4?

It's 2.0.

I don't see why you needed a different SMBX application to get custom world map graphics when you could easily put those graphics in the episode folder.
Other than that, this is great.

In 5-6 there's a chance that you can't backtrack for the first star because the platform is too high to spawn from below.
Also which theme is the "clifflands" theme?

This looks quite fun, though it doesn't look too much like Super Mario Land, I can see that this would be fun.

just be careful though, levels are longer than Restoration but with more checkpoint.
Some stars location are absurd and some are annoying to get.
Would take 1~2 hours to beat a world.

2 hours per world? Quite an underestimate.
In 7-Castle the pipe after defeating the Clawgrips doesn't spawn.
EDIT: After fixing this I just completed it. Hooray.

I can get going on this again if I can ever get the latest smbx to stop crashing on me.

I've had occasional crashes when playing the version of SMBX provided with the episode.
Might I suggest making a version for TheXTech? It is much more polished, compatible with android and homebrew consoles, and allows for unlimited checkpoints. Personally I think sacrificing the features from X2 is more than worth it.

The SMBX 1.3 itself is known for being heavy due to its programming, which was done by someone (Redigit) who was still a beginner at the time. Additionally, if I'm not mistaken, the C++ language might have been a better choice (sorry if this is an error), but Redigit used Visual Basic 6.
In other words, it seems impossible for SMBX2 to become lightweight considering these technical decisions made during its initial development.
The current version of TheXTech (TheXTech 1.3.6.1) is not compatible with SMBX2.
I've already suggested on the Wohlsoft website that TheXTech be adapted to be compatible with SMBX2 and SMBX 1.4 (SMBX 38a). However, I'm not sure if anyone will address my request.

I think they should develop SMBX2 alongside TheXTech, meaning they should have simultaneous updates.
In conclusion, Sapphire Bullet Bill, if you're interested, you could consider reaching out to Wohlstand (the leader of Wohlsoft) and attempt to program a new version of TheXTech yourself. While it might be somewhat labor-intensive, the outcome would likely be worth the effort.
