Honestly, jiggly is a dead cause. Sure, you have some fans, but she's an easy character to forget about.
We would much better off having Mewtwo instead.

The only people who think Jiggly sucks are people who've never used her. She can kick ass if you know how to use her specials right.

If Ganondorf makes it in, he needs an entirely different moveset. I mean for Solaris' sake, he has a sword.

People thought that Yoshi was getting confirmed last Friday (NA release of Yoshi's New Island), but he wasn't. A lot of people are worried he's not getting in now, but I'm quite confident since he's one of the original 8. He'll probably be confirmed on the Japanese release date for Yoshi's New Island.

I have heard many rumors that either Yoshi or Wario would be confirmed for smash bros 4 when Mario Party Island Tour releases in Japan this week. If that were to happen, it would likely be the latter of the two.

There are rumors about character reveals every time there's any kind of release of any game in any region. I'd take that kind of information with a grain of salt. Of course, Wario's almost certainly in (Ashley from WarioWare is in as Assist Trophy) and doesn't have any upcoming games, so I might believe it. Of course, I was also on board the Yoshi hype train last Friday.

I don't know why Diddy Kong has been confirmed yet of all people, though some other popular characters haven't.
I would like to see more Sonic characters, in fact there's only one so far - Sonic. Also, the fact that they included the Wii Fit Trainer in the roster is just something to hysterically guffaw about, that's ridiculous. Otherwise, Yoshi and Wario should definitely get added, perhaps Bowser Jr. would be neat, and a few more Kirby and Mega Man characters - and then I'd say the game is all set referring to the roster. If they're just going to add a million more, it's worthless though I do indeed believe they will add more characters in this game in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, despite them already having tons in that Wii game anyway.

ur right, who needs unique characters like WFT, let's add more garbage sonic characters. great idea.

I like your style because I can never tell if you're being utterly sarcastic or not.
If you are being sarcastic, seriously though, even one more Sonic character would be satisfying enough, but if they're going to just add Sonic, why not have at least Tails or Knuckles? Also, Wii Fit Trainer is not unique, it's just Nintendo developers absentmindedly saying "oh yesh we r so intellijint! let us add wii fit traner just to add somewun no one will ever use and will be like spamm!!"

Tails would probably function like a Sonic-Fox hybrid though. Not worth it.

because tails and knuckles aren't interesting or unique enough to justify a character slot? there's tons of first and third party characters that deserve a slot over them. As for the rest of your post, I would suggest looking the word "unique" up in a dictionary.

Greninja and Charizard make an appearance as official characters.

Charizard is kinda replacing the PKMN Trainer in this game I think. He was a "transforming character", and since they no longer support that, as seen with Samus/ZeroSuitSamus and Zelda/Shiek, he seems to have been downgraded to just Charizard.
Also, 5 Pokemon if Greninja doesn't replace Jigglypuff.

I think it's more because Squirtle and Ivysaur were awful and everyone just used Charizard 100% of the time anyways.

I know Jigglypuff was part of the original roster, but I predict that he won't be appearing again. Not to say he wasn't any good (in fact, he was top tier in melee), but his relevance in the Pokemon series right now is lower than ever. Lucario got a mega evolution recently, and so did Charizard. Charizard was even reintroduced as a starter pokemon. Greninja is a current gen Pokemon, and since Pikachu is indisputably the series mascot, it's clear how irrelevant Jigglypuff is to the series in comparison to the Pokemon they've revealed.
As for other characters, like Captain Falcon, Ness, Meta Knight, and Wario (

), I suspect that most of them will still be in the game as unlockable characters. Sakurai is most likely focusing on:
- characters unlocked from the start
- newcomers
- maybe some unlockable characters who are also mascots for Nintendo's most successful IPs.
Edit: also, anyone who thinks wii fit trainer is uncreative or not unique should consider the fact that it's motherfucking wii fit trainer
I mean, he/she specializes in "healthy" moves
like yoga poses
and breathing
if you don't consider her unique, then your knowledge and logic are both lacking
but obviously a sonic clone would be way c00ler Kappa

Well, there's currently 4 Pokemon reps confirmed. Ivysaur and Mewtwo are unlikely to comeback, so if Jiggs returns (who feels like the most likely out of the three to return) it'd bring pokemon reps up to 5, which doesn't some seem to ridiculous a number. (I think it's equal to the Mario reps?)
I'm also not sure why people think characters like Captain Falcon or Wario won't return, given both of those have confirmed assist trophies with series characters...

As much as i'd like to get in bed with tails and go to town while kicking qig's greninja ass, i'd rather see other characters that have their own franchise, heck, i even think a bill gates character who's final smash consists of transforming into a fucking cyberdemon has more possibilities than making it in the game than tails or knuckles
