How dare you insult Knux...0_0
are you kidding me he deserves it
He deserves to be insulted? I don't think you can draw a line between people that deserve and don't deserve to be insulted. Shutting contact off with the community does not make someone stupid. He has his reasons for it and you shouldn't judge it without knowing the backgrounds.

it's not necessarily that, it's the past couple months all the stupid decisions he's made. i've lost all respect for the guy honestly.

The only reason that this is a bad thing is because he deleted a few years' worth of this community's history.
Knux and I have been talking recently and I brought up the subject of creating a community archive made up of his and NSMBX's databases, but I guess that won't happen now. Especially since ProphpBB apparently doesn't give out database backups (except that was in the event of data deletion; maybe they have different policies for requests but that point is moot now).

Nah you can request backups if you want to move to a new host or whatever but they don't do regular backups for individual forums.

It's the "Knux does something shocking" time of the month. Not exactly upset with him, just confused by his decision.

Such a shame really, so much our history has been lost. That's why I'm archiving everything I can find, so we can at least have some sort of preserved history. Like Raster, I'm not upset by this, but I am very confused, not that I know the full story anyway, but...

Legitimate question, is there anywhere where TAOK is archived? I'd hate to see all those years of comics lost forever this time, especially after so much work was done to get "lost" ones back a while ago.

Actually there is someone who have some seasons (I have from the 1 to the 6), so not all the things are lost.

Blast, was going to give him a review of TGE 3 with the intention of getting him to fix the (minor) problems i picked up. Even if i still did, whats the point? Doubt if he'll even see it and even more doubtful he'll pick it up again anyway. Bugger, was looking good so far too...
From what i make of prophpbb guy's response to Luigifan, they have a backup but will not give it out. Bugger that they have it and we can't get at it, an archive of the place would've been most useful. I thought there was a provision where in the case your forum got hijacked and/or deleted they would restore it but i guess not...
Would the Wayback Machine be of assistance here?
I suppose i should mention that i have all of Seasons 1-7 of TAOK. Don't have the last 50-ish (Season 8) but thats a decent start to that at least.

There are many of them. I've posted a link in the GFX recovery project topic which links you to the january 1th. There aren't many from the 2014, tough.

Can I get a download link to TGE3? I never really got a chance to download it, even though I really wanted to do it

Knux just does stuff on impulse. I'm assuming you're new.

hence him having eleven posts
and yeah, Knux just likes to deliberately piss people off, it's really nothing to question/be concerned about
