Most of the "hate" is because "boo-hoo I was banned on a forum when I was too young to be there anyway".

It's way more than just that. Kyasarin was somewhat aggressive and even the people who weren't banned there could admit that he was strict, so that's where most of the hate came from I do indeed believe.
Then again, I could be totally wrong; I wasn't on the original forums.

Weren't most people actually banned cause Redigit made the you have to be 13+ thing and all who were under it got banned and only unbanned when they were 13. And didn't Luminous actually ban more people then Kyasarin did though.

Who, exactly, is Luminous?

Luminous (or ant) is Kathy's half-paralyzed brother. And nobody under 13 was automatically banned on the forum (unless the staff knew they were infringing COPPA policies). People like Namyrr and Quill who were under 13 at the time were still able to make posts and even moderate.

Let's be civil please. CaptainSyrup was asking a question. Half-paralyzed can mean that the person is unable to stand/walk.

Being half-paralyzed doesn't mean he's not able to moderate a small forum.

People definitely were banned if they were under 13, source: I was banned once COPPA was instated.

And yeah, Kyasarin is not remembered fondly for more reasons than just banning folks; for one, he banned people for outrageously minor reasons. He was also just generally needlessly aggressive and condescending in his presentation as a moderator. He was a very unpleasant person to run into on the forum.

Except Lumi did very little moderation, if any? And I'd say if anybody was underage banned that'd be me doing it or one of the admins. Never recalled Kathy extensively doing it, but I'm still half-asleep and so is kathy, so wait a bit.

I recall being told that Kathy and Luminous are not actually related and that that was all a joke because they acted so similarly.

You'll never see ant unless you are playing with kathy in, say, worms.

Also, they love to team up against everyone else.
