I tested that before and it worked. It is a good idea to place them in a kaizo level (like Touhou). I'm warning you though: it's quite difficult!

I don't know if that's a secret, but when a Lakitu throws a 3-up Moon, it will stay in the air, but it will not fall. Also, when Yoshi's fireballs are placed in eggs, they do not move at ALL.

It is not that difficult though! I done it a lot!

If you put stars in bubbles, you can trick the star counter in hub games. You could have, say, 2 normal stars and one star in a bubble, and getting all three will make the star counter read as 3/2. It might be a little mean if unindicated, but if you give players a hint that there might be additional secrets, it could be a fun concept to work with. It could convey a feeling of going beyond 100%, sort of.

Does this work with buried, egg, etc? I'm on my phone so I can't test.

Just tried them, works with both. It even works with Lakitu, if you can climb high enough to reach it.

That's actually really interesting. Those three guys were in the SMBX Community, suggesting that the sprites on that sheet that aren't in SMBX were planned to be in SMBX.

Can someone ask Redigit about this?

Asking Redigit about this is impossible. He does not care anymore about SMBX, or the messages that you send.

Also, if a Koopa is in a layer, and you stomp on it and hold its shell, then hit a switch that makes the Koopa's layer disappear, you will still be in the holding animation, which looks like you are holding "nothing" at the moment, until you let go of the run button.

Same thing will happen if you hold a flamethrower. Except no fireballs come out but you do get to do a moon jump!

That can be worked around by setting the disappear event to force any player control other than "Run", and then shutting off that control 0.1 seconds later in a new event. That's still an interesting find, though. I didn't know the flamethrower still altered your jump like that.

You can do a jump after pressing a P-switch. This is a frequent bug in NSMB series too.

Since I noticed nobody mentioned two of my favorite secrets, I suppose I should.

1. Link can skyward-stab through breakable blocks, like the shiny SMB 3 ones.
2. Link can also downward-stab spikes to bounce on them.

No, I'm not kidding. Here, take a look:

I think a lot of people already know about this, me included. I found out when I was making a Zelda level for my project and I was planning to use and exploit those secrets to allow more progress throughout the level. And also, downward-stabbing Brick Blocks and Ice Blocks breaks them from below much like the Turn Blocks from SMW.

I know 3 (useless) secrets.

1. In the actual music folder, have a music called smw-forest.mp3. For some reason this music don't are in the game and the Windows Media Player don't can play the music.
2. The old Staff Roll music (Old is the smg2-title and new is mk-credits) continues in the music folder.
3. In SMBX 1.3.0.1, when you start the game, in the loading screen, have a change. Are written: Show you support to Nintendo and buy a Wii U. A "U" are added in the front of the "Wii".

I know that I can be rude, but please use a better English.

I can't understand. What you mean with "continues"?

Many people knew this.
