While all jokes target someone, RadishI, it's not quite the same if the terminology used is considered to be offensive to a specific group of people (gay men in this case). I think most of us can agree that that's over the line.

Bomber called people "cumspits" and "wanks" yes, but those terms don't target specific groups of people in the same way that "faggots" does. They're not really offensive to specific people in general and do not degrade a group like "faggots" does by comparing others to members of that group and suggesting that doing so is a bad thing.

The fact that it refers to more people is irrelevant. An insult is a still an insult. Many people make jokes / insults and just because it's referring to a community that everyone is babying now adays, doesn't make it worse than other insults. It just means he's talking about that community everyone tends to protect and defend nowadays.

Calling someone repulsive, terrible and disgusting Is I believe either equal as calling someone a faggot or even worse.
And don't take it from just one example, there's more insults tht are thrown around on these forums.
