In the Underground GFX there's an background-3.gif that's a standard SMB3 BGO and background-7.gif has no mask.

Wrong, there IS a mask, but it's 1x1 pixeled, and the real BGO hasn't been ported to SMBX.

I don't see a mask, or is something wrong with my DL?

Weird, I thought for sure I the "background-7.gif" file was a mask. Well anyway, yeah, there's no mask for that background AND the background itself is 1x1 pixeled.

There are no 1x1 pixels on that bgo. But it is still missing a mask.

It's in WIP, of course. If you watch the graphic, you'll notice that there isn't the shading.

I wouldn't release something WIP in a v1.0.
And I'm still curious why there's this vanilla SMB3 background.

It wasn't a wip, since it was already done, but i forgot to put it into the pack, but this is now fixed :-).
I just updated the download with the fixed version, that has all that unused stuff removed, the BGOs fixed, two new BGOs inside for the underground-sections (some toadstools), all the level-icons for the worldmap put inside, and also almost every level-exit in SMB1-style. Now you can have BGOs in the cave-levels (silly me -.-).
Again thanks for the bug reports and the patience. Now it should be fine.

Thank you :-D.
I didn't notice that, because i looked at the pictures there, that are still the same, so i thought not about it :-P.

See?! I told you that you're a GOD graphic designer! I said that you'll be a king, and...erhm...you WILL be a king!
All that misses now is an extended Super Mario Land 2 world map.

BTW, as soon as you finish this pack, you should move on to doing an SMB3 expansion pack, and then SMW, before finishing it off with LoZ and SM expansion packs (I think doing an SMB3 expansion pack will be really easy).
