I vote yes, because I honestly think that Darkmatt can be a good moderator. Sure, he can be a bit....hard, but eh, it's just who you are. Also, Darkmatt is pretty rad.
I initially voted no but after reading through your responses to criticism (which I agreed with)… Yeah, I change my mind. You actually seem like a trustworthy and level-headed guy. My vote is now sure.
Inactivity, at least by itself, shouldn't even be grounds for a demotion IMO.
This community needs a stable group of trustworthy and like-minded people who just stay on the roster. Having more active staff certainly helps a lot, but life gets in the way and there's a report button for a reason. Users should be expected to not rule-break as much as staff should be expected to respond to it.
But I digress and my opinion will probably be considered irrelevant. DarkMatt? Mod? Sure.
I voted sure because you are a good person who get things done instead of not caring for some time. I guess with you there will be less drama, or, at least, there won't be more drama.
For what it's worth, I've been discussing with the staff the possibility of DarkMatt being promoted for a little bit now. DarkMatt wanted to ask the community how they would feel and I thought it was a good idea, so that's why he created this thread.
