I'm like 45% done, and there's less than a week left. Plus I 've been busy with other stuff so I'm not rly sure if I'll make it.

I'm 90% done with level organizing, gfx, and a NEW lua boss, Pyro Blaster (getting tweaks out of currently).

Yes. Once the deadline passes, I'll package up the submissions and send it to the judges for reviews.

If your name is bold in the OP, congrats, your level has been accepted.

However for those who have yet to submit a level, I do have to remind you that this is a contest about remaking levels.
So make sure that your submission is somewhat related to the original.

Enjoy your time. And remember to submit before January 2nd, 7:00pm.

Someone messaged me that they would like a deadline extension.

The vote is at 8-2 in favour of extending the deadline.
So the deadline has been extended to Monday 9th January 2023 - 10:00pm UTC.
This is the only deadline extension so make sure to use it well.

Yes, nothing in the rules state that you couldn't.

To be honestly, no I wasn't going to make an episode.
My plan is just to release a level pack once the results are out.
That said, feel free to turn the level pack in proper episode if you want to do that.
