True. As we've seen exhibited throughout this thread, all they cause is trouble.

No wonder people don’t use ranks anymore.

At this point I'm just in favor of removing ranks altogether. It really shouldn't be this big of a deal.

well this forum is not my highest priority on the internet anymore so whatever happens I won't be as disheartened as in the past

Agreed on that, some people just see ranks as status and higher ranks being superior, so either a rank toggle option or removal of ranks period would be best

I'm personally fine with this, I haven't payed much attention to them, and like several users have already stated, it's not worth being worked up over a small change like this.
