the secret exit in Liquid Lake is ungettable because you cannot bring the key through the exit pipe in the bonus room
I also dont know how the flurry jumps in Frosty Forest are possible without a Yoshi

I think you are missing an invisible block in that room. There are three of them there and the one you are probably missing will lead to another pipe that allows NPCs.

The idea is that you pick up the flurries and throw them to the right, so that they walk that way and you can just stand on them. Or isn't that the problem?

I also take issue to the fact that there are no powerups around the midpoint of each level
Edit: You can't climb vines while holding items.

You aren't supposed to climb the vine while holding the key. I don't know if you have climbed it and found the third pipe, but
at that pipe there is a button that makes a way back to the key. You can see where the button is if you walk all the way to the right in the room. Then you can use the vine to get there.
EDIT: Could you please put the screenshot in a spoiler? Otherwise people can immediately see the secret when they see the post.

The vine doesnt lead anywhere.
EDIT: I found the secret but only after browsing the editor. It's hidden too un-obviously, especially for the first secret exit in the game
EDIT 2: The almost frozen lake has a VERY late midpoint. consider moving it back to the middle of section 1
EDIT 3: Played a bit more. I assume The Suburbs is meant to be played as peach. Character blocks exist. Please use them. I had a very awkward time playing the level as Mario.
Rule of thumb: You should have powerups at the beginning and at the midpoint, at LEAST. This episode suffers severely from lack of powerups.

I will think about making the secret exit easier to find.

The checkpoint is indeed late, probably because I made the rest of the level shorter than intended. I think I will change that too.

Switch blocks exist too. Please use them.
Just kidding
Well, if you mean the part before the music blocks: there are switch blocks on that place, so you don't have to fly with Peach if you switch them on. I don't know if that is the problem, but the rest of the level is beatable with Mario too and not necessarily meant to be played with Peach.

I didn't know there were rules about the number of powerups. Also, this episode was meant to be hard, at least not too easy. I am sorry if the lack of powerups annoys you.

Lack of powerups just seems like a way to artificially make an episode harder, at least in most cases. Just because an episode is hard, doesn't mean it can't have powerups.

I could include more powerups when I update the episode, but I would like to know if that is necessary.

Honestly, I haven't gotten around to playing it, but I will start today. Hopefully I can provide input on this soon.

I have updated the episode. The update includes an easier hidden exit in Liquid Lake, the checkpoint in The Almost Frozen Lake moved to an earlier point in the level and more powerups. I also discovered that in the previous version some start locations were wrong placed, so if you have the previous version, I would recommend to replace that version with this one.
Please tell me if the number of powerups is still not good.

Sweet, an update. I've been going through your episode a bit (before the update). I was just wondering if you'll remove some of the background objects (such as bushes), as they are used too excessively, at least in the earlier levels. Besides that, I don't have much to critique atm.

I'm talking about this jump before the P-switch.

You're right, there are probably too many backgrounds. Never really carefully looked at that, sorry. I will reduce them in the next update.

Oh ok, that is what you mean. Maybe a bit too difficult, but still possible. Strange enough nobody else complained about that, so I thought it was not a big problem. But I will see what I can do about it in the next update.

Okay. So i played a little bit more. and i believe that Castle of Frost Frog is awful and needs to be entirely redone, for several reasons.
1. Background objects that looks exactly like regular block, like the ice blocks
2. Background objects appearing in front of Mario and all sprites (i feel like this is intentional, given the placement of the spikes, but i can't be too certain)
3. The vertical part of section 3:
When you allow the spikes to scroll into view, they start falling instantly, giving you no time to react. Even if you do react, the way vines work means more often than not you will slip off and fall to your death.
I'd love to play this game to the end for criticism's sake, but I do not want to complete this required level. This is a problem.
EDIT: I also went inside the editor, and found that the midpoint is right before the boss. I personally suggest, to prevent frustration, moving the midpoint to the beginning of section 3.

Ok, so I have a question: how can you say the level has to be entirely redone, if you haven't played the whole level (which I assume because you say that you don't want to play it and that that is a problem)?
Also I won't redo this level entirely, at least not now, as I am too busy working on my current project. Maybe some time later, as I think you are right about some points. I can do something about the falling spikes, giving the player more time to react or something.
I believe the checkpoint is not very badly placed, as it is not really right before the boss. There is a quite difficult part after the checkpoint imo and I think it would give frustration if I would place it in section 3, as the second part of the level would probably be too big. And if I make section 3 less difficult (that vertical part), I think the checkpoint will also give no frustration at the place where it is now.

I just finished this episode and it looks bad. Especially used cheat to past levels after world 4.
I can just go on talking about all the levels in this episode (Most likely logic, enemies placement, problems that were ignored, and frustration ), but I would like for creator's stance before I criticize this episode and probably ways to improve this episode up to the level of invasion 2.

I think this deserves video coverage, I'm seeing a lot of mixed opinions and I want to try this out. I'll post here again with a video (or videos as soon as I am done). Overall things seem to be looking good for this Episode.

What I think is that world 1 to 2 is the easiest. When you in world 3 or above, it started to get ridiculous. If you can't handle it, just skip it or cheat it.
Also, why there are 8 people thinking this episode is perfect?

Maybe because they enjoy a challenge? I don't play games to cheat them. I see that as a sign I shouldn't proceed if I need to cheat, however this episode doesn't look bad and a lot of the complaints seem to be based on not trying hard enough to look for things or not having the right skills. If you wish to continue to try to deter me, save it. I don't care. I'm going to try this anyway WITHOUT cheats or skipping, thank you.

Because people have different opinions than you?
