Sheriff contacts Cedur, Cedur says Sheriff confirmed, but how do we know he's not lying without the Sheriff outing himself?

Even then, wouldn't the real Guardian counterclaim tonight? (or a mafia trying to delay the alliance by sacrificing themselves)

I'd just like to redirect to this post to convince you all that I'm not lying here (there's no deputy now but it's not really making a difference). If I was mafia and claiming first right when the town already asks for a guardian claim, I would be doomed if I didn't manage to get the sheriff killed Night 1, which I would definitely not place my bets on (2:19 likelihood), and even then I would receive a counterclaim, most likely before Day 1.

The sheriff should absolutely not get in contact with Cedur until he inspects him. There's no color changing roles or a green/blue mafia this time around so you really can't lie about being a special role without being found out eventually.

However, archmage/sheriff. Watch out for the Assassin.

the assassin can only track if someone actively visits someone else, not who is visited. This shouldn't be a bother.

Someone did a lot of work to "Seijafy" my name. Anyway, I do remember the roles, but no Grammar role.
