"Hey, keep watch on that house with the knocked down door! There's something dangerous inside!" Yelled Kuhan in an attempt to warn everyone else, whilst holding his position at the enterance of town.

He aimed his bow towards the knocked down door waiting for something to exit.

Robin swiftly does a 180 and backpedals a fair bit away from the alley. "We got company down that alley!" He calls to no one in particular more just hoping the entire group hears him, pointing back to where he'd backpedaled from. "They're lookin' pretty big."

Khiana pushes a barrel along with her as she aligns herself with the entrance of the alley. She needed to see a bit closer what exactly these figures were capable of. She kept the barrel with her because it was partially filled with water and it acted as good cover just in case one or more of them had a bow.

In order to report this horrible sight, Vardo descended in Robin's direction.

(OOC: perception check on whether I notice Khiana or the burly figures maybe? If I notice the figures, I'd try to land some distance away and approach Robin by foot, otherwise I'd prob go straight for Robin until I can clearly see them)

"I'm coming!" Hilda shouts in response to Robin, running towards the sound of his voice. "I'll handle this," she says as she catches up to the group in the alley, drawing her sword. "Whoever is responsible for all this destruction will meet justice at the hands of the god Odin."

"For Lady Mila..." Robin quietly whispers, giving one of his swords a swing at nothing in particular to make sure it's all good. He promptly follows Hilda, ready to fight.

As most of you regroup, your shouting has alerted the orcs in the area, and they approach with weapons ready.

Group MEGAR gets to act first, so each of you may perform an Action, take your movement, and do anything else you wish to do on this turn.
Each square = 5 feet. Once everyone has taken their Action and movement, the opposition will take their turn, and once they have, it will go back to Group MEGAR, and so on.

As Kuhan notices orc exiting the building he was looking at he approaches it about 15 ft and shoots an arrow at it.

Hilda walks north 5 tiles, preparing to engage the orcish raiders.

Robin swiftly heads 20ft (four tiles) north, opting to wait for an approach.

I push the barrel over and attempt to role it into the orc group before backing up to the fountain on my group's side (so 5 squares south) with a shortsword in one hand and a dagger in the other.

I move 20 ft north, grant Robin one Bardic Inspiration d6 and cast Vicious Mockery on the most northeast Orc.

Your arrow strikes true. The orc takes 9 piercing damage.

The orc succeeds on the spell's saving throw, so nothing happens.

Pushing the barrel forward, it doesn't roll much along the rough stone road, and stops a few feet in front of the orcs. The orcs charge forward, swinging their weapons at their newfound foes.
An orc, taking a swing at Robin, hits him with its battleaxe. Robin takes 4 slashing damage. (8/12 hp)
Two orcs slashing at Hilda with their swords. One of them manages to cut through her defenses. Hilda takes 7 slashing damage. (6/13 hp)
Another orc thrusts its spear at Khiana, but she dodges it easily.
The orc that confronted Kuhan swings its sword at him, and snags Kuhan's arm. Kuhan takes 3 slashing damage. (8/11 hp)

Having finished contemplation, Alexis had noticed the growing fire and discord happening in town. Lacking any greater purpose, he made his way posthaste to see what he can do.

It didn't take long for him to notice the party getting assailed by Orc brigands, and springing to action, he runs to the combat, staying to the left of Robin and pronouncing some strange words indeed.

Robin looks behind him to notice one of the Warforged's fingers opening up and a bolt of fire shooting out of it, aiming straight at the Orc to his left.

Khiana, heavily frustrated and embarrassed at the barrel fail, she knees the orc in front of her and stabs him in the chin & through the head.

Crying out in pain, Hilda grits her teeth and jabs her sword through the chest of the same orc as Khiana. "I'll need some rest after this," she thinks to herself.

Scratch that - crying out in pain, Hilda steps back - a somewhat cowardly action, by her own admission, but what she believes is necessary to survive, moves to the tile behind Khiana, and heals herself for 3 HP with Lay On Hands, up to 9/13.

Robin notices that some of his allies took quite the beating, but it seems like they are not in need of immediate assistance - at least he hopes so. "If you're badly wounded and need to recover, don't hesitate to ask me - I'll rush over to you and help you."

He then moves 5 ft north and attacks the Orc directly northeast of him with his Rapier before flying 25 ft backwards again in order to not be as big of a target.

Robin doesn't seem too bothered by the hit. Sure, he wasn't as strong as he used to be after such a long downtime, but he still has that handy resistance. "Keep it together!" Is the generic rallying cry he comes out with, but hey, he's pretty sure anything could get to these people. Robin promptly gets one of his shortswords and slashes at the same orc Alexis seemed to be firing away at.

after the orc hits Kuhan's arm he takes out one of his shortswords and wields it in his other arm and attacks the orc with it.
