ALSO, I have been working on The Great Tree (1-9) and I have done some improvements, expanded, added enemies, ect.

Note: the green orb is a checkpoint, not the end.

It looks so cramped, repetitive, and not very fun

You talking about the tree? I will admit, at times I died because I didn't have much movement space. Also, those yellow shyguys caused me some trouble, because they have a speed boost for some reason. There was one part where I constantly died because there was only vertical movement space and the wall was literally 2 blocks away from the other.

I'm going to tinker around and attempt to uncramp it.

And with the "repetitiveness", after the checkpoint, it turns into a wrap around level, where you have to hunt down switches and activate them to progress.

It was a little unfun with those pesky yellow shyguys and the lack of space, but I still had some fun testing it. I'll do my best to improve it.

I'd suggest not making a switch hunt. You have a good idea right now with the tree and should find ways to build on that concept

What is that graphic you used for the outside of the tree? Looks good, if you could tell me where i could get the graphic that would be much appreciated. Your episode looks great too, hope it can get back on track soon (without delays etc).

Thanks for the feedback man, always appreciated!

That graphic would be the lovely work of Sednaiur, and his pack SMB2 Extended Graphics Pack. Here is the link:
Spoiler: show
You'll find the tree trunk parts in the BGO section of the pack, and the logs in any of the above ground grass tile sets. The background is in the pack, too!

Here is a picture of 2-1, Snakes in the Night, a basic level revolving around snakes (Piranha Plant reskin). Pretty basic...

Looks great, maybe a gameplay video of what you have so far would be interesting?

Looks pretty cool, but why is there a level at the bottom going nowhere (assuming that path is unlocked when you complete the blue level north of it)?

Haha, didn't notice that until I posted the screenshot. The red level isn't a secret level leading from the blue door, that's the first level. The blue door is the second level which leads to the secret temple level. Haha, didn't mean to confuse ya!

Hey guys, I'll be on a 2 week break after Christmas. Christmas is Christmas, you know? Only comes around once a year, and I'll have a Nintendo Switch to be using, and some Power Moons to find ;).

So yeah, I'll work as hard as possible in this weekend and try to get some screenshots in and MAYBE a gameplay video of World S-1, Podobo Chasm. Maybe.

Stay tuned in. Keep in mind, it might not be 2 weeks. It might be 1, maybe half a week, ect.

Stay awesome!

Don't worry about it! To be honest, most users on here like you and I will probably have a few days to a month off after Xmas, so i'm looking forward to seeing some solid progress next year!
Your project looks promising so far, so I wish you luck with this!
-Have a great Xmas and New Year too!
