True. Maybe making it look like water would help. I think there are no paths or levels to avoid spoilers.
Were purposely avoiding showing paths for the sake of spoilers, but we appreciate the feedback on the world map.

Well, Kremkroc Industries had Poison Pond in it

It didn't have poisonous water like how Mario has poison water in the forest world, but it's fine to have.
Like DKC1 didn't have any poison or lava but just water, but DKC2 had swamp water and lava and toxic, and DKC3 had toxic waste in the factory levels as well as poison water that messes with the controls in a pipe level.
DKCR had a volcano world, but lacked any poison water or swimmable water for that matter. DKCTF had some lava, the return of swimming, and I think some poison water (kinda forget).
So it's fair to mix things up a little bit with this. Sorry if this is too much info.

If DKC did not have poison water, so what? Why should TTK not add in stuff just because it did not appear in DKC? Kind of reminds me of #BTB but for DKC.

I don't think he meant that as a criticism. XD hahaha
I honestly wanted to avoid small things like this to try to keep things as close to DKC as possible, but it also makes things easier to add little twists to it instead of making a mario port of DKC so I appreciate the support.
I'll gladly take any additional criticism if need be while we're in development.

Is the tri-force on the world map intentional?

I guess it is a habit to make art with trees when j make a forest on a world map; however, The Thwomp King could convince me to make one...

Not all things have been forgotten. Progress is slow and gradual, but this project is not dead folks. If necessary I might leak another level or two in the future.

**Stares at Monthly Contests, still old and dusty and lacking results**

Hm.
Maybe this is more than just a small update.

I'm definitely looking forward to this, The Thwomp King, RPG_Magician, and everyone else involved. Your screenshots are works of art, and I'm sure the actual levels are even better. Please continue to succeed!

Looks nice. By the way, I chose the cave themed option, but I really like the forests as well. :O

I haven't forgotten, but I'm surprised the contests haven't been forgotten by others. XD haha
Otherwise I appreciate the feedback everyone! I wish this project would be out by now, but myself and the team are all busy at it in real life. We'll keep doing our best!

I think it's time to resort to the locked basement tactics to get more levels done faster.
ANYWAYS.

I appreciate the comments. But I have forgotten to mention that
any Screenshots may be subjected to change in the near future. Any other feedback is appreciated as well.
Please stay tuned folks. There's still more to come.

Don't worry, I will. This entire project is amazing, and I'm positive any changes are for the better. Even if all of the graphics suddenly become gray squares and bananas for some reason, I look forward to the team's future progress.
