Yes, I always use this combination. But if there's no Tanooki Suits, then I use the leaf.

Let's go with another combination... full on Ice! 2 Ice Flowers with Ice Yoshi! Ice-based weapons are fun!

Fire Mario and Pink Yoshi with a Poison Mushroom Ice Flower in reserve box will help you to backtrack high places without leaving Yoshi.

The best for gaining height is blue or black Yoshi. Once dismounted off of Yoshi, land on another Yoshi. Keep jumping and dismounting. So, basically my power-up combination is Yoshi to Yoshi (to Yoshi to Yoshi, etc.) The only problem... it is extremely specific. On the bright side, this is a puzzle idea. The puzzle is get a shell to Yoshi's mouth. Not the most creative, but... I think it's a good puzzle idea as long as it's not repeated.

Yeah! That can be interesting, having multiple Yoshis like that for a puzzle and such. There are countless ways you can do that.

Everyone knows the best powerup is the bubble flower with another bubble flower in the reserve.
Except for the people who don't know what that is.

I think that without that my favorite combo is ice and tanooki with the purple yoshi.

Bubble Flower huh? This could be a relatively interesting power up to use. Also yes, LunaLua based power ups are allowed here so it also can have MegaMan based Items if you want.


Having a purple yoshi with flight abilities... would be fun for a long airstrike into the ground if you're careful enough. Be aware of the bottom!!!
