(the animation is native in-engine btw, but as you can see it kinda... doesn't work)

I put the Rinkas;Tale folder in the worlds folder, but it's not showing up when I open the launcher. Do I need to add a world file to the folder?

There is no World File. Just open it up in the level editor (I recommend the legacy editor).

Kinda. The main difference is that waves, enemies, encounters, etc. are all compiled into one script.
There are some other differences, but Unitale is a good comparision.

Do you have LunaLua or SMBX 2.0 (which comes with it installed)

Without LunaLua you can't use this

LunaLua is part of the SMBX 2.0 Beta download so just download that. You should be able to find it yourself, it's an Announcement

Yes you can install LunaLua on your version of SMBX or download it pre-installed on the newest version. I can't get it to work on 2.0 either, so out of experience I can tell you that it should work on normal SMBX (a.k.a. Lunalua, but not 2.0) just fine.

So, just a little heads up on progress: Lately I've been trying to make rotating and scaling bullet hitboxes, but there's a few problems with that atm.

(Edit: I just did that with a new smbx put seems like I dont see the world and dont see the fight or temmie or textbox on level editor. Can't I just get a link to a pre-loaded file with a working Megaluavania?)

So, you probably did something wrong. Maybe not the newest lua or wrong file management. Sorry, but I dunno how to help you with what little information I have.

Just try playing it. You won't see the images in the actual Editor because they are drawn with LunaLua I'm pretty sure. Try starting the Engine to see if it works and try playing the level
