Are we allowed to make certain npcs invisible such as layer attachments and event triggers? IK you said, "no custom graphics", but I want to be sure about making certain things invisible.

That would require custom graphics.
So no.

You CAN kind of make some things invisible by making a temporary .txt file with a width and height set to be really small (like 2x2) and it will stay invisible even when you remove it in most cases. This doesn't work with everything though.
