IDK... I just randomly made those gfx. I tried out some shading, etc and it happenedShadowStarX wrote:Are you aiming for flash game graphics?lighthouse64 wrote:I don't think my level I'm working on would fit any smb gfx styles. And yes, I did forget to make the coins fit my style![]()
Also, you control gravity in this level by pressing the jump key.
Mario games don't really have logic. (well, video games in general aside from AAA simulators) I mean, Mario jumps 5 meters high (physics), sometimes the tropical desert and the arctic glacier are neighboring (geography) and some other stuff.Enjl wrote:My favourite part about that level is that people still use the sideways and upside-down trees like they never had biology classes. Not so fond of the jpeg quality, zigzag design and cramped areas, though.
Wow great level design! I really like this mix, seems unique. I saw a thing I dont like, some parts seems tight, but overall is great! (I really like the recolor of my tileset!).Harvey36Dice wrote:WIP :
Looks really cool Spinda, I see only one flaw: the background is broken (but I guess that's bc of PGE)Spinda wrote:Spoiler: show
I heard you like castles so we put some castle in your castle so you can castle while you castle.Spinda wrote:Spoiler: show
That's a whip'm, baby.Harvey36Dice wrote:WIP :Spoiler: show
That looks really nice and I'm more excited for SMB1X than ever now,but why do people put goombas in slopes? What does it do?Spinda wrote:Spoiler: show
All it does is make them spawn on the ground of the slope as opposed to slightly above it.Swinder wrote:That looks really nice and I'm more excited for SMB1X than ever now,but why do people put goombas in slopes? What does it do?Spinda wrote:Spoiler: show
i really love the tileset! but the background is not fit with the tileset IMO....
That really needs more color variation. And especially you shouldn't really recolor every enemy to green, because then you can't see the enemies and that's really bad.Harvey36Dice wrote:Spoiler: show
Well I'm still making some most of the stuff. Maybe I'll post a different screenshot when the entire tileset is actuall done.
