Re: What is the worst sickness you had when you were younger?I haven't really had anything worse than a common cold, but there was one case when we were returning from a trip out two years ago, and we were eating in a fancy restaurant just before we were due to leave. We took some food home with us, and for some godforsaken reason it got poisoned on the journey, and I ended up with food poisoning the day after we got back. Took half the day for it to go away...

Re: What is the worst sickness you had when you were younger?Last year, around Halloween, I got a pretty bad staph and strep infection that left me feeling like garbage (headache, fever, nausea, fatigue) and with yellow liquid seeping from an infected scrape on my knee and pustules erupting all over my limbs. I went to the doctor and got a round of antibiotic pills plus an ointment that quickly killed the infection, but overall it was nasty, kind of scary experience I never want again.
Going back in time, I was pretty healthy for most of my teens. I remember having a couple of bad stomach viruses when I was ten or eleven that gave me horrible cramps and diarrhea at night, but otherwise felt okay during the day. |

Anyways, the worst sickness I had when I was younger was constant ear infections. I had to get tubes in my ears because they happened way too often. I currently have an ear infection now actually. |
