Is that the guy who used to go under the name "animebryan"? Or are they two different people?

No, you must've mistaken him for someone else...

After school I'll be practicing for a Mario Kart tournament. The actual tournament will be live Friday - Sunday. The winner will receive 25 dollars worth of My Nintendo points.

I recently randomly discovered two german chess masters and youtubers who make really cool content, and I rediscovered my passion for chess. I also joined Lichess.

Got an unnecessarily large stimulus check, meaning I can justify a few purchases I’ve been eyeing for a while but never pulled the trigger on.

Look age means nothing, it’s probably your constant whining how nobody cares about you or the posts you make.
You make yourself look bad in other people’s eye by constantly talking yourself down again and again.
Also you already said you be leaving over and over so I expect you to be back.

But honestly the most healthy solution for you right now, would really be taking time off from the internet and mature up.
This has done a lot of good to others, so it will definitely help you.

Oh and also you shouldn’t throw everyone from here into one full bucket.

If you really want to leave, then please do it silently and you can choose to come back when you're mature enough to use the internet. I think chances are pretty solid that this community still exists in three years.
Otherwise, please don't make more "leaving announcements" as they're not considered serious.
If you want, I could provide you more constructive criticism through PM (I don't wanna do that in public).

I'll just summarize this with Joey's [forum founder and owner till 2016] words:
"If you want to leave the community for good, you'll be better off doing so silently - there's no reason to make a point of it in this forum. The best way to leave a community is by, well, leaving it. I've seen a lot of users making "leaving" posts and then coming back later, and that's pointless."

I'm been on a bit of a mental roller coaster lately. Most days I am my normal self, but I have a few days where I feel down and randomly feel the urge to see all the fear mongering going on. At times, I pray that the world can survive and learn from our current times, and at times I see this being some sort of sign that "the end is near."
It's like my old heroic me vs my late 2010s delicate me.


Also, I just want to briefly say that just because you feel that you're not fit to be in a community doesn't mean you'll comeback to grow. Take it from me as an example, I was going through tons of stress and self-pressure that was carried from middle school to my old high school. After 2018, I looked back at my posts and thought "I need to take a step back." And so, I took a break for over a year, and eventually came back to only learn from my mistakes. Eventually, you may think of something you failed to achieved and probably think you should try again.

It had been 6 years since I last spent a whole weekend in front of the TV playing games. With all the interruptions that have kept me away from YouTube, plus the TV room setup that I've had since last summer (itself the first time since 2015 since I had anything like that), maybe it's time for me to just spend a full weekend on games again.

Besides, I do have a bunch of consoles set up on my TV as I said a little while back. I might as well put it to use.

It also balances out for still having a full-time job even during COVID-19 (a work-from-home, but still fixed-schedule and required to keep my virtual desktop active).

Why did you lie twice?

tonight I had a dream sequence about 38a's physics, the stiff leaf/tanooki glide turn in particular. I also dreamed about playing Pinball.

Last night I dreamt about one of the best things you could ever imagine. The streets reopened, the schools and jobs reopened, everyone got to see their friends again. It was such an exciting moment, but then I went home and checked the news. It appears that the coronavirus is not gone and is still in pandemic mode. The town opened up DESPITE THE CLEAR EXISTENCE OF THE VIRUS.

Schoolwork. That's it. Everything else is cancelled

My friend on Twitter, Retro Game Brews, just announced that he's doing a Street Fighter II online tournament on June 5, and 6! So I decided to enter it since I have all of the following:

• A Capture Card (Elgato Game Capture)

• A Digital Copy of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection

• A Microphone

As long as I have time to participate during those time periods.
