They're valuable because they're so freaking hard to obtain.

They have a 100% chance to drop if a skeleton shoots and kills a creeperChoco wrote:They're valuable because they're so freaking hard to obtain.
I feel that once people are done making towns or whatever we can make it a big project to make a big roads system, and maybe once that is done we can remove any unnecessary warps and focus more on survival mode?XerX wrote:Well see, this is supposed to be a survival server. You are supposed to survive. The fact that users got creative mode to build a 'city' or a 'village' and whatnot kinda throws that whole concept out of the window. I can't say I didn't do that, because I did. But it makes it a lot more boring after a while, because there is no challenge.
Also, warps is another thing that bugged me. These towns are so close to each other, warps are really unnecessary.

I figure since I got a few people that want to join in I can get a short little sign-up thing I guess. You will need a mic, and you will have to be dedicated through the whole game, which might last a while (The one that I did with Vinyl, Deoxys, Drluigi, and Dakras last year lasted around 4 hours? Maybe more or less, I don't remember).GhostHawk wrote:This. I'm not good at survival but I could do some camera work if it's going to happen when I'm able to get on the server.
There's two music discs and they're supposed to be used inside.Choco wrote:So does this mean my music disc isn't that valuable anymore?
Probably not a build promise I can keep, but I could make more sub pathways. And yes, please force survival. Creative is starting to get boring, since all I've been using it for so far is improving the aesthetics of VSMBXVillage, and building in the spawn town (which reminds me I should get back to work on the other power stations before Jan. 5th), or just flying around.8bitmushroom wrote:I've gone lax on keeping the server survival focused. I figure that once everybody is completely settled in with all their towns, roads, minigames, whatever, that I'll remove creative mode from everybody and force Survival onto people. Not sure if it will be worth it by then but I'll still do it. I figure at the end of this month maybe I could do it? It'll probably happen January 5th when I do maintenance and pay for the server, since that'll make the most sense.
I do plan on getting Lockette, or a Spigot counterpart.GhostHawk wrote:Probably not a build promise I can keep, but I could make more sub pathways. And yes, please force survival. I don't know if it's been already added, but I would appreciate it if you added Lockette to the server when everyone gets survival. That's it though because I think some of the plugins that are already installed are causing lag.
If it is just World Edit, I'll take that out. :PXerX wrote:It might be just World Edit tbh. That thing takes a lot more memory than any other plugin.
I don't time out at all, but the server does seem to lag a tiny bit here and there, not to the point of unplayability.
Post your specs please/internet speed from speedtest.net. I don't understand how you're able to play at such a high resolution without lag unless you have a high-end computer.Vinyl Scratch wrote:I don't lag at all

Alright.GhostHawk wrote:Also, I built a roadway over the subway from the castle to VSMBXVillage. It is by no means finished, but the path is there. I'm thinking arches, and some artificial scenery will make it look better once all the jagged blocks are smoothed out.
