Recolors involve nothing more than changing the colors in the graphic. If you're modifying the actual pixel layout, it's more than a recolor.

Recolors aren't hard, anyone can do them. I don't even know how to make graphics, but even I can recolor. If I can do it, so can anybody else. It's not that hard of a process.

as much as i got disenfranchisedinterested in SMWCentral, i do like that you can see the order of someone's posts (like if a post is number 104 and they have 268 posts, it will say 104/168 under their avatar for that post)

I like that too, but I don't think that phpBB supports that feature, at least without a MOD of some type. That would actually be a great MOD to have though.

I honestly don't see the point in that feature. We already have a post count feature.

Would someone like to enlighten me on what exactly the point of this feature is? I agree with Zeldamaster12 on this because we do already have a post count, and unless this has a specific purpose I don't see why we need to be able to tell what our 457 post was.

It's only to show which post of the amount of posts the user has, is.

example is 203/593.

That is the users 203rd post of the 593 they have.

Ah thanks, so I guess it is basically just another way of displaying a user's post count.

Also, though I'm completely tech savvy with forum MODs, wouldn't this Mod if implemented now just start counting your next post as number 1 or do all of our already accumulated posts have some sort of code in them for this mod to recognize as the your real first post. I hope that made sense. :/

I don't think there is a mod for that at all for PHPbb, since it's a feature exclusive to the acmlm-based boards.

Well in that case, that ends the discussion about the addition of this then if it is acmlm exclusive.

It seems like a MOD could work at least hypothetically since all posts are timestamped. That said, I don't know much about the subject.

Even if there was a MOD for this (there may be), I wouldn't implement it because we don't need it and MODs are annoying to install.

Is it possible at all for us to be able to see if someone has been tempbanned? It seems like something that would be nice to know.

Who is banned (and the reasoning behind it) is the business of the staff and the user in question only.

Many other boards allow users to see who is banned and why, and for how long, though. Why does it need to be kept between the staff and the user? That's pretty strict.

In that case, shouldn't you remove the banned members group?

The banned group is for permabanned users only.

There's still a request for a banned group for people who aren't permabanned. I'd be nice to know who is banned and who isnt. People who are permabanned arent coming back, but regular banned users will. They're different and it would be nice to separate.
