Woah, that's pretty cool!Eri7 wrote:I'm working on some sprites of my character Darkstein.

It's a good start, but I think the shading is pretty banded. Small sprites are harder to shade than people think they would be.Eri7 wrote:I'm working on some sprites of my character Darkstein.

They are his mechanical wings.WildWEEGEE wrote:I think they’re wings.TheLoafLord wrote:Woah, that's pretty cool!Eri7 wrote:I'm working on some sprites of my character Darkstein.

Uhh maybe I will do that with his other mechanical wings.TheLoafLord wrote:Ah, they're pretty cool.Eri7 wrote:They are his mechanical wings.WildWEEGEE wrote: I think they’re wings.
However maybe add some more "wing resembling" characteristics to them? Like most wings have multiple branching points on them, but this one is just a pure straight line. Know what I mean?
My character Darkstein was inspired by him , good job on noticing that detail.krazykat wrote:Looks cool! Reminds me of the MCU Vulture.
I already did , just check out my project's topic to find the video of my boss fight involving this OC.MarioRPGExpert93 wrote:Random Question: Are you going to use your OC displayed as a custom boss?
yes. I'm planning on using those sprites for all of those. I still need some editing to do, but yeah.Taycamgame wrote: ↑Sun May 06, 2018 5:01 amThat looks amazing! Is that Thwomp an NPC or BGO or Block?
Yeah I'm in agreement with that. I do need to redo a lot of things in regard to the tileset. I'm able to tolerate the fill, but the edges definitely need work imo. Also your old tileset still looks pretty nice even to this day. But yeah I'll definitely fix some things up.Enjl wrote: ↑Sun May 06, 2018 5:53 amNice, a new Thwomp Ruins tileset! My old one's not that good so it's cool to see a new one. It looks a bit flat though... maybe some higher contrast could help? I think the grain is partially responsible as well, though...
