I am working slowly on a replacement for mario.

Dunno who he is.. don't got a charecter name yet. But he wears sneakers and some purplish pinkish pants and a blue shirt and an orangish hat...
Was just trying to come up with something a little more original i guess. But i get a little tired of seeing mario's mug in platformers... wanted a custom character but since you can't do much to modify hit box and size of mario.. i had to just kinda work around mario's size and height to come up with something.
I was thinking super kid or something.. dunno yet.

Oh God Darkonius that looks epic! The brambles looks awesome and the tileset fits well. I understand that it's in early beta, but I recommend you at some point add scenery, pipes, enemies, coins, blocks, bricks, etc. Otherwise, keep it up.

For those of you that are still not sick of Frozen, here's yet another screenshot of a level based off Frozen Hills from TGE2 and CC7. This will be used in the upcoming TGCA remake:

But don't worry, there is no Valtteri cover in the level.

I like non-linear levels more than linear levels, but yeah that's up to you :/

I don't really like the snow effects in SMBX. They feel unnatural and add clutter, making the level feel cramped. I think a better way of creating snow is to add snow particles to moving layers, make them move diagonally, and when they're off-screen move them to the initial location and repeat the event sequence. Might be tedious and you'll have to add multiple layers but I'm sure it looks far better.

All i can say is dodge and run never look behind you. The Wario Land Train Music will play in this level the inspiration comes from the first level out of Stove Canyon.

F that thing is called Donut in Wario Land due being in Kitchen Island. Also it rolls like the spike ball you can stand on it since i disabled it being killed from jumps and lunadll disables tail and spin altough i won't add any racoon stuff expect in syrups levels maybe. Also indeed the tiles.

Thanks. It's the only level I have much motivation to complete. It has a few pipes featuring different trials (in a way) that open doors for you.
